Wiltshire Police, formerly Wiltshire Constabulary, is the Home Office police force responsible for policing Wiltshire and Swindon in south-west England.

Wiltshire Police Authority has 9 councillors (from both Wiltshire County Council and Swindon Borough Council), 3 justices of the peace, and 5 independent members.

The force was established in 1839 under the County Police Act 1839, and was the first county police force to be formed. Its motto is Primus Et Optimus, which means First and Best.

The Wiltshire Police were the police involved in the Battle of the Beanfield.

In January 2008, Brian Moore was appointed as Chief Constable of Wiltshire Police. He took over following the departure of Martin Richards, who took over as Chief Constable of Sussex Police on 1 October 2007. The current Deputy Chief Constable is David Ainsworth.
