Karan Singh Grover (born 23 February 1982) is an Indian television actor and model. He began his television career in Ekta Kapoor's Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi on MTV India. He is currently playing Dr. Armaan Mallik in Dill Mill Gaye on STAR One He is one of the most popular indian telivision actors. He is known for his cutest smile and well shaped body. He is probably one of the few actors with best six pack abs. [1][2]

Early life and background

Grover was born in Delhi in a Sikh family, hailing from Ambala, Haryana.. and spent his childhood in Saudi Arabia. He came to India in 2000 to pursue a Degree in Hotel Management from Institute of Hotel Management, Dadar, Mumbai, after completing it he worked in Muscat for a while, where his family was then located, before starting his acting career in Mumbai.

Personal life

Grover married TV actress Shraddha Nigam in Goa on December 2nd, 2008. It was a private ceremony with both of their parents and a few other family members were present. The news was confirmed on 6th December, 2008 by Shraddha Nigam.

He has acted in movies such as Bhram with Dino Morea and Chetan Hansraj. He also revealed his younger brother is a singer .He did his schooling from International Indian School of Dammam. He believes in numerology and added Grover at the back of his name. He was previously dating actress Barkha Bisht.

He was going to participate in Nach Baliye 4 but due to problems with his previous commitments and dates problems, Shradda and him will no longer a part of NB4. It was revealed that he couldn't do it because he was filming for his debut film. He has a cousin-brother acting in the new Star One television serial, Miley Jab Hum Tum, whose name is Jas Karan Singh. Karan Singh Grover was hosting the reality dance competition between boys and girls, Zara Nachke Dikha and now is participating in the show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa started February 27, 2009. Practices started January 10 or 12. He was and currently is best friends with Hiba Mahmood. They both had very memorible times. "I don't recal having such a good and honest friend like Hiba" said Karan Singh Grover.
