::That proves your hidden agenda, now I understand much better. Well I say there were ethnic Macedonians before there was something like ethnic Bulgarians. What are we going to do now? We have to find a compromise, not mentioning his ethnicity, only "considers to be .. in .. and .. in ..". Ethnicity
To Strich3d, provide sources that he considered himself as an ethnic Macedonian. There is an article linked which says otherwise. Mr. Neutron 22:06, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

Atanas Badev wasnt bulgarian, how can be part of wikiproject bulgaria? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Strich3d (talk • contribs) 18:21, 18 May 2007 (UTC)
- On the contrary - he was. --Laveol 20:38, 18 May 2007 (UTC)
if
there wasn't for wikipedia I would never knew this guy existed :) Btw, isn't "see Macedonism" a little bit rough here? After all Macedonism is an alleged trend that is not widely accepted, and the article would be more neutral without it? Capricornis 00:01, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
- As already mentioned Ottoman censuses showed the population as Bulgarian. Claiming that someone was ethnic Macedonian only because he is native to the region of Macedonian is extreme as Macedonism is extreme itself. But it would be fine with me if you remove the Macedonism part. --Laveol T 00:55, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
- I am sure the article will get expanded and written according to the neutrality and factuality principle of Wikipedia eventually, I just thought that the Macedonism part gives a shade of negativity currently. Removed. Capricornis 01:20, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
something from his time?
Does anyone have some pictures or articles from the time Badev was alive, preferably in foreign press, so we can see how foreigners referred to him? Capricornis 21:31, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
What an unbelievable nonsense
- "Claiming that someone was ethnic Macedonian only because he is native to the region of Macedonian is extreme as Macedonism is extreme itself". You have to be neutral and admit that these people could be this or that. Only that is neutral. 93.219.253.116 (talk) 01:08, 2 June 2009 (UTC)
