Hank tells him to leave it alone but Dale steals a sample of Kate's hair and orders a DNA analysis. When the test discovers similarities between Kate's DNA and Joseph's, his son, and realizes that they are half-siblings.

When Peggy needs a new car, Hank insists that they buy one from Tom Hammond (Ted Danson), his go-to salesman for 25 years. At the lot, Peggy begins negotiating with Tom on a convertible, but before she can close the deal, Hank catches her and insists on finishing it himself. He ends up paying full sticker price, well above the figure Peggy had talked Tom down to, and thinks he has gotten a good deal. Eventually he learns the truth and realizes that Tom has swindled him on every car he has ever bought; Tom defends himself by saying that this is what he does as a salesman. Hank enlists the help of some college students to put flyers on all the cars in Tom's lot, but they instead blow up several of the cars on their own, branding Hank a terrorist.

NOTE: This marks the second time Hank is mistaken for blowing up something he didn't. The first time was the Mega-Lo-Mart in the season 2 season finale, "Propane Boom".

Enrique encourages his daughter, Inez, to ask Hank to speak at her quinceañera and Hank reluctantly agrees to her request. Meanwhile, Luanne's husband, Lucky, turns to Hank for some insight on how to become a better father.

Meanwhile, Boomhauer romances a French-Canadian woman.

Season 14: 2009

Fox ordered 13 DABE production episodes. At the conclusion of Season 13 there will be two remaining episodes left. 20th Century Fox Television kept the show in production for four additional episodes (DABE14-DABE17) bringing the actual amount of remaining episodes to six, however the network nevertheless has yet to license those extra episodes, meaning as few as two or as many as six could air next season. Airdates are unknown.[1]
