Baritone instruments

I agree that the information about Baritone instruments didn't belong in Baritone, but we don't have tenor instruments or soprano instruments or any of those. I wonder if it might be better to combine all those as a new section in the article Musical instrument classification? —Wahoofive (talk) 22:32, 21 Jun 2005 (UTC)

True. I did it pretty quickly without much forethought. You want to lead the charge to begin the article? :) RasputinAXP 02:16, 22 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Hi, deletionist

Hi! Users 66.167.184.15 (talk · contribs) and Jlmcvay (talk · contribs) has created a lot of record-label-cruft for Serious Business Records and everything affliated with it. A good deal of their articles are stubs and probably nn. Since you are a self-proclaimed deletionist I thought I could bring it to your attention :)

Punkmorten 20:41, 20 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Kulturnett.no

Got a deletion request on kulturnett.no from you, could you explain why? They could probably be a major contributor of material for wikipedia about Norway.

Hi

Hey, RaputinAXP, I noticed some of your deletionist work here, so I decided to give you this Deletionist's Barnstar

Take care, Molotov (talk) 21:48, 12 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Cultural references to Jack Kerouac

Aloha. I'm just dropping you a note to ask about splitting Jack Kerouac. I was just wondering if you were waiting for comments from other editors before doing it, or if you think I should just go ahead. Let me know. --Viriditas | Talk 01:09, 3 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

WP:CP

Hi, you've reported copyright infringements to WP:CP in the last week, a new measure was recently passed to allow the speedy deltion of new pages that are cut and paste copyvios. Please follow these instructions if you come across this type of copyvio. Thanks. --nixie 00:22, 6 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Blatant copyright infringements may now be "speedied"

If an article and all its revisions are unquestionably copied from the website of a commercial content provider and there is no assertion of permission, ownership or fair use and none seems likely, and the article is less than 48 hours old, it may be speedily deleted. See CSD A8 for full conditions.

After notifying the uploading editor by using wording similar to:

{{nothanks-sd|pg=page name|url=url of source}} -- ~~~~

Blank the page and replace the text with

{{db-copyvio|url=url of source}}

to the article in question, leaving the content visible. An administrator will examine the article and decide whether to speedily delete it or not.

Sorry, I thought it was an unsigned nomination with the vote hanging off it. My mistake. -James Howard (talk/web) 18:56, 11 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Rasputin,

From your edit over at Pocket Mumias it sounds as if you've run into this guy before. Whether sock puppets or team of vandals, there's clearly a concerted effort here (compare their contribs or check out my notes at The Man Known as S). What's the best way to handle this? I'm already going through and reverting any unverifiable contributions, but it took me a bit to put this together and I want to help future editors do the same. Your thoughts? --Dvyost 02:05, 13 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

No, just there for a visit. Have always been curious to see where the '67 Glassboro Summit was held. Wasted Time R 00:37, 20 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Perhaps you could check out Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Extinction (band) (2nd nomination). Last time I nominated it, it didn't get a single vote. Punkmorten 20:49, 26 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

AFD?

The article Contact Consequences is being cleaned up. Why delete it ? Seen some of what is on your talk page. A fatal malfunction has occurred on this site. The article is intended to state WHAT may happen should alien life be found/ it finds this planet. I've listed 2 historical "alien" contacts, one hostile, one not hostile, but that one soured later. The hostile one is when the Spanish made contact with native civilizations in the Americas, and destroyed them. The other one is when the English made contact with Native Americans, which is recalled every Thanksgiving in the US. That friendly contact later turned sour. If aliens found this planet, how will they treat the human race ? How will the human race treat them ?Martial Law 00:27, 15 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The malfunction was on a HTML Tidy program.Martial Law 00:28, 15 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

??s

How do I nominate someone to be a Admin., such as yourself ? I'm new to the whole Wikipedia system. Appreciate the honesty. Do'nt see it often in this day and age.Martial Law 00:42, 15 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Malfunction

The HTML Tidy program failed, resulting in possibly numerous vandalisation reports(Hate to be in the CVU's shoes right now)to the CVU, and taking Wikipedia down. That qualifies AS a catastrophic malfunction.Martial Law 07:45, 16 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Awards protocol

How do you give a award, and can this be placed on my user page ?Martial Law 07:47, 16 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I was looking for a Honesty Barnstar or related award.Martial Law 23:06, 16 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I was trying to give someone a award, how do I do this ?!Martial Law 07:54, 18 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

You tagged this article for speedy deletion and I reverted it to an earlier version with content. You might want to take a look and decide if you want to AfD it. --GraemeL (talk) 16:18, 26 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

When you created a new page

When you created a new page for each of my commentaries how would anyone find each of them if one does a search from the wiki home page.

I have finally figured out how I am going to contribute. I need to know that people will be able to see what I submit. --Tjkphilosofe 08:26, 27 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I do have own web site [1] and have links to my blogs there. I am in the process of figuring out how to best make use of and contribute to wikipedia.--Tjkphilosofe 13:45, 27 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Bands and WP:NMG

Hi. Once again it's time for band deletion. I recently found a whole host of musical articles which don't seem to meet the guidelines (they're dubious at best). I might try to look into it in the future, but I could need some help. You did a very good job last time, with the Serious Business Records thing.

The articles in question are: Abe Froman (band), Bitter Like The Bean Records, Boomfancy, Carrie Nations (band), Chris Johnston, Defiance Ohio (band), Erin Tobey, Harlan records, Japanther, Los Gatos Negros, Madeline Adams, Operation: Cliff Clavin, Rosa (band), Soophie Nun Squad, The Devil is Electric, The Max Levine Ensemble and finally The Sissies. Wow.

Kind regards and good luck, Punkmorten 20:01, 31 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much for doing this!! Punkmorten 13:28, 27 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
