The Ghost is an upcoming film adaption of the Robert Harris novel of the same name. The film is directed by Roman Polanski and based on a screenplay written by Harris and Polanski.[1] It stars Pierce Brosnan and Ewan McGregor.
On his way to the Zurich Film Festival, Polanski was arrested by Swiss police in September 2009. It has been announced by Babelsberg Studios that due to Polanski's arrest production has been put on hold until further notice.

The plot of the film is based on the novel.[2]

Production
Production began in Berlin, Germany in February 2009[1][4] and is being co-produced by the Babelsberg Studios[4]. Filming is being done in Berlin, northern Germany (Baltic shore) and Denmark[5].
