Ghattamaneni Mahesh Babu (Telugu: ఘట్టమనేని మహేష్ బాబు) is an Indian actor. He was born on 9th of August 1974 in Chennai called as "prince","super star" by fans. His father is Krishna, and he is one of five siblings; an older brother Ramesh, two older sisters Padmavathi and Manjula and a younger sister Priyadarshini. He did his schooling at St Bede’s School in Chennai and obtained a degree in Commerce from Loyola College, Chennai. He is married to Namrata Shirodkar and he is the brand endorser for Thums Up and Navaratna Oil and univercell mobile and the only actor to endorse three brands in telugu cinema industry.and he is only actor to get 6 nandi awards in the present generation young heroes.
