== Who knows Future Batman's identity? ==

I'm aware that Bruce and Max know who the new Batman really is. Ra's al Ghul and Joker both managed to work it out as well, but does anybody else know who he really is? [[Special:Contributions/81.104.44.84|81.104.44.84]] ([[User talk:81.104.44.84|talk]]) 20:52, 9 January 2010 (UTC)

Frank Welker is NOT Ace

This is explained in the audio commentary for the episode Splicers. Will Friedle assumes (as everyone does) that the dog is voiced by Frank Welker, until one of the producers explains that it really was a dog; specifically, a pet owned by sound effects editor Robert Hargreaves. Welker's pretty talented, but even he can't sound that much like a real canine!

Project: Batman Beyond

The final episode of the Justice League Unlimited has Terry Mcginnis finding out that he is related to Bruce Wayne through DNA injected into the man whom he believed to be his true father. In the Batman Beyond series, Terry has a younger brother whom also does not resemble the elder Mcginnis. Terry and his brother are both darkhaired while the parents are a red head and burnette. there might also be a chance that the brother is also relate to Wayne since the DNA implant might since have been in the elder Mcginnis's system when the brother was conceived. it would have been nice if he had became another Robin.

Once again, the "Project: Batman Beyond" section here is basically using verbatim text from the episode. Not only that, but it takes almost as much space to go through one episode as the entire rest of the article. This kind of thing appears all over the DCAU articles, and is counter-productive. Deleting it outright is vandalism, and I don't have time to write a replacement. If someone does, it would be GREATLY appreciated. It really shouldn't take up more than a paragraph or so. --Simnel 11:09, 18 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Nuts to that. Epilogue itself has an EXTENSIVE page, there's no reason to repeat that here. The first paragraph of that section is plenty, and it contains a link to the Epilogue page. I'm removing all the rest. Simnel 21:54, 25 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

To add to what you said earlier, about Terry's younger brother becoming a possible Robin, it would have also been very cool that when Bruce Wayne dies, Terry's younger brother fills in to help him do the detective work, as mentioned in the Epilogue, Terry has the "heart of Bruce Wayne, maybe his brother developed the "brain" of Bruce Wayne. So in that sense, his younger brother could be the one thinking two steps ahead, and together they form the Duo that Bruce Wayne and Terry did. I think it would make for a GREAT Batman Beyond continuation arc, whatdya think?? Yasir (yasirhossain.com) - Jan 8 2006

What I'd like to know is WHY they call it Batman of the Future in other countries. I can understand changing it for a foreign language, but not the UK. Does it have some double entendre there? 24.165.203.79 04:40, 30 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • I'm not sure of the reasoning, but many series' are named differently in the UK - for instance, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was named Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles over there - no idea why though. H0n0r 20:27, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm from Bulgaria and I don't know why it's "Batman Beyond". Beyond what? I think "Batman from the Future" is more wright, because the time in this cartoon is 50 years after that in B:TAS. TMNT was changed to Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles, because "ninja" is a very bad word in England.User:Batman tas

Hookay...so you want to change the name of the series? Well sadly, the series is dead and gone now. Gautam Discuss 00:09, 23 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Merge: Terry McGinnis?

I proprose that it remains seperate. If the article can be expanded, it would be a worthwhile source of information solely about Terry.

Merge. Probable a good idea. Terry McGinnis reads very poorly right now, very unencyclopedic. I don't see that there is any real existence of Terry outside of Batman Beyond to warrant a separate page. Dyslexic agnostic 00:44, 22 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It wouldn't be the first time an important character in a single series had his own article. Messiness is what editing and the {cleanup} option is for. SAMAS

It appears that someone is already doing that right now. If he can actualyl make the page into something worthwhile, let it stand. Still, it probably should be the only seperate page that should be splintered off.

Merge. Obviously I feel this way. I'm gonna do the merge over the weekend, unless more people come through with no votes, or someone posts a compelling reason not to. Simnel 09:25, 23 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Retain. Several reasons why. --Antrophica 07:20, 26 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Seems that the opinion is merge

There were some improvements made to the Terry page, but not a whole lot. Of the four people who weighed in, two said merge, one said no, one said 'maybe'. I'm going to do the merge as soon as I find the time, unless anyone else adds something to the argument. Simnel 15:13, 25 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

splicer

I want to add somethig about splicers but i culd not think of a place to add it to the page.

Could someone please do it.

What would you like to add? How is is specifically relevant to the page (I agree Splicers was a good episode...). FYI, You misspelled "something" and "could" Gautam Discuss 00:10, 23 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Chronology

This is the chronology I think is right in DCAU,I may be wrong?

Please correct me but it is so confusing, the timeline:

  • Ending of Batman series.
  • After 10 years:conclusion to Justice league unlimited
  • 10yrs later:Terry mcginnis is born
  • 20 yrs later:Batmanbeyond is reborn

10 yrs later:Epilogue

also, this Barbara Gordon isn't disabled, someone should make note of that? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.236.64.58 (talk) 17:57, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The time between the end of BTAS and the end of JLU is less than 10 years. But I don't have time to explain now. --Batman tas (talk) 17:19, 21 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Batman: The Animated Series/Animated Series Batman (character)

During the creation of of that "late" article I always stated that it was a draft or unproject. It took weeks until Bennon cleverly figured out what I was trying to do was a sandbox (which I didn't know how to do until now). Now everyone can edit it with no time pressure and talk about what to do with the info when i's finally finished. I coul'd have created the sandbox in my own talk page, but I don't want anyone to assume I "OWN" the project. Feel free to erase, add and source stuff to improve it.--T-man, the wise 22:34, 12 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This article is one of thousands on Wikipedia that have a link to YouTube in it. Based on the External links policy, most of these should probably be removed. I'm putting this message here, on this talk page, to request the regular editors take a look at the link and make sure it doesn't violate policy. In short: 1. 99% of the time YouTube should not be used as a source. 2. We must not link to material that violates someones copyright. If you are not sure if the link on this article should be removed or you would like to help spread this message contact us on this page. Thanks, ---J.S (t|c) 03:39, 10 November 2006 (UTC) [reply]

Uh, the only youtube link was deleted yesterday. Gdo01 03:42, 10 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Number of Episodes

I've been trying to download this for a while now and I'll I'm finding is up to episode 39 (which is presumably the end of season 2). Is the number on this page correct? H2P (Yell at me for what I've done) 09:50, 23 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Terry to enter DCU

The maker of batman beyond (the dude doing 52 right now) has said that Terry will be enetering the DC world soon {(supermike/supermike)}

Are you sure this is obviously true. & what is this 52 thing that some guy is doing? & who is this guy? {(orlandocg954/orlandocg954)} —Preceding unsigned comment added by OrlandoCG954 (talkcontribs) 23:04, 2 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Oh & BTW! If you guys wan't to watch the Batman Beyond TAS full episodes go to tv.blinkx.com (I hope this helps you guys) {(orlandocg954/orlandocg954)} —Preceding unsigned comment added by OrlandoCG954 (talkcontribs) 23:04, 2 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Zeta DCAU Referrence

In the Season 1, Episode 2 of "The Zeta Project", "His Maker's Name", Rosalie "Ro" Rowen says to Zeta after he narrowly saves a dog running into the street from a hover car by grabbing its back bumper, "Way to blend in Superman..."

Thought this was a good page for it. I'll leave it here and someone else can decide what to do with the information if they want to do something else with it. I thought it would be nice to have because people like to see the connections in the DCAU and "The Zeta Project" only has a few outside of the later-produced JLU cameos, BB and its future universe. I hope the BB page is acceptable to put it on, because this page is probably frequented more because of its section on these things, and because "The Zeta project is a heavily connected spin-off. I added to the tail end of the already existing Zeta section in it. Edit as necessary. ChozoBoy 07:10, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If Anyone Gets A Leak...

If anyone, in WB or from the outside, gets a hold of information about a Batman series continuing Batman Beyond or another futuristic Batman type series, please post it in the Wikipedia page. Thanks. Gautam Discuss 00:12, 23 March 2008 (UTC) [reply]

I'm sure it's innocent, but this sounds like a request for Original Research. Just remember, any "leaks" that cannot be attributed to a Verifiable source do not belong in an encyclopedia article, and will be removed. -Verdatum (talk) 21:27, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well whatever dude. No one cares really. They can post it here too. Gautam Discuss 02:28, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've added the term Twip, if anyone has a better definition of the term, feel free to add it. Thanks. --Ceveru (talk) 03:03, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Terry's birthdate

Okay, this needs fixed. This page says he was born in June while Terry's page itself states he was born in August. Which is it?--CommanderWiki35 (talk) 03:24, 1 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The Terry McGinnis article actually switches between two dates, see Talk:Batman (Terry McGinnis)#Birth date source. I suggest removing the date here. Flatscan (talk) 04:23, 2 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Language in the far future

Dreg is used in the modern language with that definition. The only differnce is it's usually used in the plural rather than the singular. 76.111.80.228 (talk) 04:03, 3 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Terry's parents' divorce

One could argue that since Warren McGuinness didn't feel Terry and Matt were his children, which led to the divorce, why couldn't Warren call Maury Povich, or some future equivalent, for a DNA test? Also, if DNA is re-written through nanotechnology, wouldn't his DNA match his offspring's? 65.43.96.3 (talk) 20:15, 14 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Characters

I could of sworn I remembered more characters than that. Like, a villian who used a belt that vibrated his atoms, or something. Fruckert (talk) 11:53, 22 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Glancing over the list, it appears that the villains listed are either multiple-appearance or from Batman: The Animated Series, with the sole exception of Cuvier ("Splicers"). The Royal Flush Gang, appearing in three episodes and based on existing characters, should probably be added. Flatscan (talk) 03:20, 23 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Hmm...am I just remembering villian of the day/week whatever it's called type characters? Fruckert (talk) 02:14, 25 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
If you're feeling nostalgic, try skimming List of Batman Beyond episodes. I believe that the "phasing" villain appeared in "Sneak Peek". Flatscan (talk) 04:41, 25 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
That's Ian Peek. The DCAU Wiki has detailed bios on more than 100 Beyond characters. --PicketyFence (talk) 20:07, 23 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
