Ha'wa zin were the mighty Pre-Islamic Arab tribe concentrated in the area around Taif in the Arabian peninsula. Many of the tribe members were dispatched after the Islamic conquests to Syria, Iraq, Egypt, Morocco, and Spain. Arab genealogist trace the tribe to Hawazin bin Mansour bin Ekrama bin Khafsa bin Qais Ailan bin Moudir bin Nizar bin Ma'ad bin Adnan.
