Angel Falls will be set in the north-west region of South America (near future in Colombia and Venezuela). Angel Falls will take the player to rural and sparsely populated jungle areas of this locale.

Driving the game's back-story will be ever-changing alliances and conflicts taking place in the Angel Falls area of Venezuela. Additionally, the game will be influenced by current events.[4]

Other features were explained such as the ability to change terrains on the fly, and being in a completely different spirit from previous titles. Angel Falls will also support a larger amount of in-game assets. Net code is also improved.[5]
