CJFM-FM is an English language Canadian radio station located in Montreal, Quebec.
Owned and operated by Standard Broadcasting, it broadcasts on 95.9 MHz with an effective radiated power of 41,200 watts (class C1) using an omnidirectional antenna.
The station has had an adult top 40 format since 1993, and identifies itself as MIX 96, or The MIX.
It was initially put on the air in 1948 as CJAD-FM, doing a simulcast of AM sister, CJAD 800. It disappeared in the late 1950s and re-appeared again after the AM-FM pair was purchased by Standard Broadcasting in 1961. It started to fly on its own in 1976 when it adopted the CJFM calls. "CJFM 96" or "FM 96" had an album-oriented rock, pop and variety format throughout the 1980s.
