Crash Online?

Is the stuff about "Crash Online" true? If so can someone reference it? - Tud123 23:02, 24 February 2007 (UTC) It's a kinda long story. Visit hpzr.freeweb7.com(Crash Mania) and it's on the unrelaesed games section. 88.109.179.70 16:46, 5 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merge of Lab Assistants (Crash character)

The article Lab Assistants (Crash character) isn't notable by itself. Any useful information should be merged with this article and the Lab Assistants (Crash character)article redirected to this one --AbsolutDan (talk) 01:19, 19 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Can you provide us of a URL of the site you found this information at?

This is extremely embarrasing, but that's my fangame, Crash Collosium. He must've went to the fangames section and seen it XP Kobb 22:25, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No offence, but this is Wikipedia, and we should'nt use talk pages for this sort of thing.ADBandicoot (talk) 18:36, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A bit ineutral...

The characters underwent extreme appearance changes which received mixed opinions from fans.
I feel that saying it had extreme diffrences is rather inneutral. It should be changed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by ADBandicoot (talkcontribs) 17:20, 2 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

OK, then I'll change it anyway. ADBandicoot (talk) 17:56, 12 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

In Regards of the removal of Japanese Crash Bandicoot information.

I thought I'd just make a post about it in here about it...

Someone has removed all the information pertaining to the Japanese version of Crash Bandicoot games, and I seriously do not want to go through every single article to revert these changes. I refixed the entry in Crash 3, but this is because I was able to backtrack the information.

There has always been a reason that the information was provided, and now it has been suddenly removed without reason. I was fighting over a change made to the Crash Bandicoot 3 entry, as the person kept on removing the japanese title given for the series. Now it seems after I had made the statement in the talkback entry as to why I kept reverting his change, the person has went through almost every single entry, removing every trace of the Japanese information in regards to Crash Bandicoot. This bothers me, not because simply the fact the information probably shouldn't be included, given this is an english wiki, but the informaiton has been provided as a whole for a long time. The information that has been affected were mainly the voice cast and title listings.

I don't really support this change, as he did not even give a single arguement for the changes made to the wiki Articals. Another reason I do not support the change is that while the game is indeed american made, the Crash Bandicoot games have always been popular in the Asian territory (which use the Japanese localization). And if anyone wished to look up information inregards to the Japanese version, wikipedia was an easy source to look for this information. If anyone could restore the information that was provided in the past, this would be great. 71.72.38.203 (talk) 00:06, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Crash: Invasion of the Bandicoot Snatchers

I heard there's a new game called Crash: Invasion of the Bandicoot Snatchers? I found that on YouTube? Any idea on it's storyline? SuperSaiyanCrash 16:25, 14 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

At the moment, no information on the plot has been revealed, though judging from the pattern of recent Crash games, some significant info should be released in the middle of spring this year. Cat's Tuxedo (talk) 14:32, 5 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

'Games' section - covers

Forgive me if I'm missing something, as I don't come on wikipedia that often, but as the covers of each game were fine on the games respective pages, what exactly was wrong with their use on this page?

Thanks :) Assassin Droid talk 15:01, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sales

This article says that the Crash sreries has sold 40 million copies, but it has said that since late 2007. It has probably sold more by now. TwinTitans (talk) 12:28, 6 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

That's undoubtedly true, but we need to wait for an official source to give a higher number in sales before we can do anything about it. Cat's Tuxedo (talk) 01:13, 7 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Playstation 3

Seems odd that there has been no game on the PS3 yet, has there been much discussion on this? AJUK Talk!! 21:52, 12 January 2009 (UTC) [reply]

Hopefully Crash will go to the PS3 this year, but I have a feeling that it will be another stupid Nintendo DS exclusive. TwinTitans (talk) 10:00, 21 January 2009 (UTC) [reply]

Coco Bandicoot Game?

Can you, please, find a reference for this game? It's a bit confusing - it says it is already released, but in September 2009...MR.CRO95 (talk) 13:52, 8 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There is no reference because it doesn't exist. Unsurprisingly, the entry has since been removed. Cat's Tuxedo (talk) 14:12, 8 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Crash Bandicoot 2009

Is there any news of a new crash game in 2009? new games are useally revealed in april, but i have seen and heard nothing. Y2J The Evil Twin (talk) 07:52, 24 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Not yet. In fact, I don't think we'll be getting the next Crash game until next year. Cat's Tuxedo (talk) 10:34, 24 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

So you mean 2009 will be the first year without a Crash game since 1996?—Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.89.136.211 (talk) 20:03, 8 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unless you count the mobile game Crash Bandicoot: Mutant Island coming out this September, it most likely will be. Cat's Tuxedo (talk) 21:19, 8 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Crash or Crash Bandicoot

I think that the name of this article should be changed to Crash Bandicoot (series). Most of the important games are called Crash Bandicoot: ______. The Sierra games, Crash Boom Bang!, and Crash Nitro Kart are the only ones to not have Bandicoot in them, and most of those are spin-offs. There's no doubt that the next Crash game won't have Bandicoot because it will be made by Sierra, but I still think it should be changed. Sabertooth1000000000 (talk) 02:02, 29 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Crash Bandicoot
  • Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back
  • Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped
  • Crash Team Racing
  • Crash Bash
  • Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex
  • Crash Bandicoot: The Huge Adventure
  • Crash Bandicoot 2: N-Tranced
  • Crash Nitro Kart
  • Crash Bandicoot Purple: Ripto's Rampage
  • Crash Twinsanity
  • Crash Tag Team Racing
  • Crash Boom Bang!
  • Crash of the Titans
  • Crash: Mind over Mutant

That makes 7 out of 15 games with Bandicoot in the title, which is less than half of the games in the series. If the next game has the word Bandicoot in it, maybe we'll change our minds. Cat's Tuxedo (talk) 20:13, 29 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

What you said about Sierra is biased, it isn't down to Sierra that its just called Crash it's because its easier to say, besides, in some places Crash: mind over mutant is extended to Crash Bandicoot: Mind over Mutant, but, other than you biasedness I Agree, Most Sonic games don't have The Hedgehog in the title but the series is still called Sonic the Hedgehog —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.9.196.38 (talk) 14:27, 17 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Citations for Common gameplay elements

To quote Wikipedia:Verifiability, "Editors should provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is challenged or likely to be challenged, or the material may be removed." This section covers basic information about how the games are played, and gameplay mechanics that are present throughout the series, not wild claims that could be easily refuted. The games' instruction manuals could be cited as references, but I don't think it's necessary. --Faxwell23 (talk) 03:36, 22 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Of course, there'll definitely be some debate over what gameplay elements could be considered 'common'. [[User:Cat's Tuxedo|]] (talk) 04:36, 22 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the move request was: don't move this page, but change Crash Bandicoot to a disambig Graeme Bartlett (talk) 07:34, 16 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

{{movereq}}

Crash Bandicoot (series)Crash Bandicoot — Since the launch of the first game Crash Bandicoot has developed into a wide series consisting of numerous games and a wide variety of spin-offs. Thus Crash Bandicoot is now more commonly referred to as a series rather than as simply the first game. The move is also supported by the disambiguation section of the naming conventions for the series. Hence the first game should be moved to Crash Bandicoot (video game) and the series page should be moved to Crash Bandicoot. An example of how this has been done before is that Final Fantasy directs to the series page while the first game, Final Fantasy is under Final Fantasy (video game) KiasuKiasiMan (talk) 12:30, 5 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think Sonic the Hedgehog would be a better example to follow than Final Fantasy. The name "Sonic the Hedgehog" can refer to the game series, one of the games in that series, the character itself, or any number of similarly named concepts. The Sonic the Hedgehog wiki serves as a disambiguation page for all of them. So I think Crash Bandicoot (series) is fine right where it is, as is Crash Bandicoot (character). But moving Crash BandicootCrash Bandicoot (video game) would make sense, if Crash Bandicoot were to be turned into a disambiguation page.
Another alternative, if you don't believe that a disambiguation page would be required in this instance, would be to move Crash BandicootCrash Bandicoot (video game), turn Crash Bandicoot into a redirect to Crash Bandicoot (series), and leave the about template currently at the top of that page to serve as appropriate disambiguation. 69.181.227.133 (talk) 22:40, 5 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with the anon. --Yowuza yadderhouse | meh 10:38, 6 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

CTR 2010

first of all how is this not a reliable source? It tells us whats happening and it even shows a member of the team? Tell me? And don't move anything. [1]

From what I can guess, resumes aren't usually considered reliable sources. Gaming journalist sites (such as GameSpot or IGN), however, are. It'd be best to wait until an official announcement about this comes around. Cat's Tuxedo (talk) 04:28, 26 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hey I emailed the guy and he says that the game is done. They just have to wait for it to be published. And I am not giving out my email password! --Schmeater (talk) 01:09, 27 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
