Something needs to be done about your guidelines. I have been told that you go by viz for everything and that anything in the japanese media is only to be given a sidenote and yet I see you have up to date information about Ichigo and losing his powers yet Viz has not released those chapters yet so you obviously had to go by the japanese media for that. The guidelines need to be changed to say either you use exclusively viz or you use exclusively the japanese media because they are in constant contradiction. The issue that brought me here is that the names for the espada are wrong. In Japan, a databook called MASKED was released. It contained clearly printed out romanizations of most characters. The Espada were corrected on chapter title pages years ago and yet viz does not include these in their releases. Kubo will draw a characters name, romanized on many covers but viz takes them out. So the thing here is do you want to go with the outdated viz that is only at 30 released volumes out of 48 or do you want to go with the japanese media which is updated weekly because you can't go with viz on some things and the japanese media on the others.--[[Special:Contributions/150.212.72.23|150.212.72.23]] ([[User talk:150.212.72.23|talk]]) 18:35, 8 December 2010 (UTC) |

Translation & Usage
I was wondering, what is the group's policy regarding to translation of the BLEACH contents and usage on private websites? Are we suppose to credit the group/wikipedia or just not allowed to use the material? Anime-il 21:54, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
Image Gallery
Can i propose an image gallery for every Bleach characters? Maybe like 5-10 different images for every character. It can be a screenshot or any Bleach image with an appropriate tag with it. Thanks! --Glenncando 03:02, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
So what purpose would this serve, aside from being fanfare? Sephiroth BCR 04:20, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
- Being fancruft and violating fair use. -凶 05:53, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
- I'm not sure I completely agree with the above poster, but I do think that no one really has time to look for five nice screenshots of EVERY character. This serves no purpose; Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a fanbase. IceUnshattered (talk) 01:04, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
Articles by priority
Ok we need to establish a priority order with the articles we are going to work with, any suggestions?-凶 22:45, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
- Perhaps Shinigami first? Getting it back up to good article status would be a start. Sephiroth BCR 22:51, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
Yeah I can see why it was removed, an article that long needs to have a decent ammout of references. I will work with the page tommorow after I work with two DMC pages, one GAC and the other a FAC see you then. -凶 23:55, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
- Actually I will work with Ulquiorra Schiffer, the page seems almost complete and with some refs it can easily reach GA. --凶 21:45, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
- Fair enough. I'll see if I scrounge up some refs. Sephiroth BCR 05:26, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
Any further ideas for articles to work on or nominate? Kidō, zanpakutō, and again, shinigami are well-referenced and some work could bring them up to GA status. Sephiroth BCR 00:21, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
Main article
As a minor point of discussion, does anyone think that the Bleach (manga) page is ready for a FA or at least a GA nom? Thoughts please. Sephiroth BCR 06:03, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
- FA might take us a while to get, but I think the article as it is now is GA material. // DecaimientoPoético 11:41, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
- On that note, would anyone complain if I, or anyone for that matter, nominated it for GA status? Sephiroth BCR 17:56, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
- Go right ahead. I've been thinking of doing so for a while, actually. I was just too lazy to figure out where on the giant list of GA article types Bleach should go. Literature? --tjstrf talk 00:11, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
- On that note, would anyone complain if I, or anyone for that matter, nominated it for GA status? Sephiroth BCR 17:56, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
Hair color
I've been noticing that in some (or most) Bleach characters I've come across have "Hair color" in their Bleach character infobox. It doesn't even appear in the template, so I've been removing it from some character pages. Should they stay like that or should they be removed? This may be a small matter, but I just want to make sure. Thanks, The Hippie 02:25, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
- Seems irrelevant. It likely was initially put in because of Ichigo's orange hair, but aside from that, knowing a character's hair color isn't really significant. Sephiroth BCR 17:46, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
Kind of sort of first project GA!
Loituma Girl just passed as a Good Article and, unlike Shinigami (Bleach), nobody will be whining about this one being "in universe", so it's not likely to be demoted any time soon.
For those who don't know, Loituma Girl (aka "Leekspin") is a flash animation and internet meme which features Orihime. It's only peripherally related to the manga itself, yes, but it is in the Bleach category so I thought it was worth mentioning here. --tjstrf talk 00:44, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
- Cheers. What to work on next? =] Sephiroth BCR 07:32, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
- If we're going for rankings, then Bleach (manga), the episode and chapter lists, and the main media and materials page are our priority pages since we can actually hope to get those up to par prior to the completion of the series. --tjstrf talk 07:44, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
- For the List of Bleach episodes page, I honestly see little difference between it and the current FA-list List of Fullmetal Alchemist episodes, aside from a more informative lead and added sources. Is it due to the fact that the series is concluded, enabling the providing of such information, or for some other reason? Sephiroth BCR 06:50, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
While the ongoing series trait doesn't strictly prevent it from passing, it does basically have that effect since it is under constant construction and therefore probably unable to pass the WP:FL requirement of stability.
Our list page is quite variable in its quality, actually, ranging from concise but complete to raw anon text dump depending on the episode. It's also 146 kilobytes of HUEG, which is far beyond the attention span of the average reader, and further contributes to the variability of quality because of a lack of consistent copy-editing. However, I believe this would be fixable if we did the following:
Make List of Bleach episodes into a master list, containing the episode lists of the current arc (official arc titles don't come out until the JP DVDs to my knowledge), the specials, and brief (3-5 paragraphs max) summaries of the completed arcs.
Split out the completed arcs into their own sublists, e.g. List of Bleach Agent of the Shinigami arc episodes, which we then do full copyedits for, write brief intros on, possibly illustrate with a relevant DVD cover, etc. and then take to WP:FL. --tjstrf talk 07:33, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
- I see. In essence, what is being done at List of Naruto episodes, correct? Sephiroth BCR 17:45, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
- I guess so, though I'd prefer not having the name lists for the completed seasons. If we're splitting them out due to pagelength issues, keeping the title listings would make it pointless by atomizing the page but still being too long to read, causing even more difficulties for the audience. --tjstrf talk 17:50, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
I'm proposing the idea I suggested above about splitting up the list article, please discuss. --tjstrf talk 07:35, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
Need Urgent Help
Someone created a List of Zanpakuto page,it needs alot of editing.I just found out today. So if anyone is online, please come help me out.Go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Zanpakuto Hanaichi 11:47, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

Spoiler warnings: to use or not use?
The guideline on spoiler warnings, WP:SW, has been rejected. The spoiler warning templates still exist however, but their usage is currently determined solely by user discretion. I would like to collect opinions on what qualifies as a spoiler in Bleach-related articles, so that we can hopefully weather this policy flux without any editing disputes.
I personally find their usage silly for anything but the most major of plot twists, especially since the online Bleach community is generally all up to date on the manga via scanlations. I recognize, however, that there is a large English fanbase that would probably appreciate being given fair warning before we dump things like Aizen on them. The current progress of the English anime would probably make a good meter of what can be safely detagged, as it is the slowest of the available formats. At present, the English anime is just past Ichigo vs. Renji 2, so anything before that is probably not a spoiler. --tjstrf talk 21:43, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
- I'm not attached to the tags. I say do away with them. One less formatting thing. — Someguy0830 (T | C) 08:48, 20 May 2007 (UTC)
- Putting the spoiler tags in the middle of the article looks ugly and is awkward considering that we're only considering the feelings of a particular set of viewers. I would do away with them entirely. The fact that this is an encyclopedia is fair warning enough that there will be spoilers. Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 08:52, 20 May 2007 (UTC)
WP:FLC, eek!
I've taken the bold step of nominating the List of Bleach Agent of the Shinigami arc episodes list as a Featured List candidate, since it seems to be just as good in quality any of the other Featured Lists we have. If you see anything that can be fixed there, by all means DO SO. --tjstrf talk 08:56, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
- That was sudden. I'll do what I can. Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 00:21, 26 May 2007 (UTC)
- And it looks like it's going to pass, having met quorum with no objections whatsoever! Now to wait out the rest of the agonizing 10 day voting period... --tjstrf talk 07:05, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
- I've been cleaning up the other episode lists. Any comments on that? Furthermore, should we wait until the English arc of List of Bleach Soul Society: The Sneak Entry arc episodes concludes before cleaning it up completely and sending it to WP:FLC? Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 07:21, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, it would be best to wait. That way we can ensure that our information is complete regarding the English release. --tjstrf talk 09:06, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
- Congrats on passing the list to an FL; I was glad to be the one that did the promoting, even if I don't watch/read this series.--十八 09:32, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
Why do we capitalize Quincy?
Not that it matters much, but why do we capitalize Quincy for? --Squilibob 14:11, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
- I think it's because it's not a noun but definitely a name, unlike shinigami and 'hollow'. Same with Bount. There may be other reasons I don't know of. -- Ynhockey (Talk) 18:29, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
- I always thought that since it is a kind of race, it should be capitalized, just like American, Japanese, Jewish, etc. // DecaimientoPoético 20:17, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
- Those explainations make sense, thanks. --Squilibob 05:52, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
Orphaned images
While organizing some of the comics image categories today, I noticed that many of the images in Category:Bleach_manga_volume_covers are not being used. There's probably a reason for this, but I wanted to bring it to the attention of your work group before they get tagged as orphans and deleted. Cheers, GentlemanGhost 19:13, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
- Actually, there is a reason for this.Apparantly, the images doesn't fall on the Fair Use category for wikipedia,so they nominated the article for deletion and deleted the images.--Hanaichi 09:57, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
- Wait, List of Bleach chapters was nominated for deletion? I remember that happening last year, but recently? Did they forget to tag it or something? I'm not seeing the discussion. --tjstrf talk 10:04, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
- Neither the article nor images are being deleted. Besides, why would the community need to get rid of an article because its pictures have been removed? // DecaimientoPoético 11:33, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
- Opps my mistake,they just deleted the images..oh well sorry for that....--Hanaichi 09:59, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
FLC?
List of Bleach Soul Society: The Sneak Entry arc episodes is of comparable status to its predecessor, List of Bleach Agent of the Shinigami arc episodes, and a WP:FLC nomination would be fine in my opinion. Thoughts? Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 00:02, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
- Was bold and nominated it. Improvements are highly welcome. Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 00:36, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
"List of Bleach Foo arc episodes" naming suggestion
I noticed in the Agent of the Shinigami FLC that there was some concern over the naming and it looks a little weird to me too. Perhaps "List of Foo arc episodes of/in Bleach"? Or "List of Bleach episodes (Foo arc)"? Axem Titanium 23:45, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
- Foo?!What does FOO mean escatly?--Hanaichi 03:26, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
- It's just a filler word for the arc name. I'm ambivalent to this, but the arc name in parenthesis would be even more cumbersome than the current one. I wouldn't mind a change to List of [Arc name] episodes in Bleach. I have no qualms with the present one though. Oh, and I would appreciate more input at the FLC for the next episode arc list. Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 04:00, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
- Okay, that's fine. Can we get a general consensus on changing them all to "List of [Arc name] episodes in Bleach"? Or maybe I should bring it up at WT:ANIME... Axem Titanium 18:00, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
- If you guys think that another convention is more clear, be my guest in changing it, but I personally found the current version to be the least horrid sounding of the options I could think of. The normal convention for TV episode listings is "List of X episodes (season n)", by the way, but that's impractical in Bleach's case because the episodes within a given "season" do not necessarily have any shared characteristic other than falling within the same numeric range.
- Bleach naming conventions have always been a pain due to the weird names that the fictional elements have, though. The character lists for instance, are all forced into either non-standard usage (Xs in Bleach) or grammatical awkwardness (List of Bleach Xs), all because the seemingly most rationale option, "List of X characters in Bleach", results in an article with the horribly misleading title List of hollow characters in Bleach (Berserk (manga) has a similar issue with its List of Berserk characters). --tjstrf talk 18:15, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
- Hahaha, "List of Berserk characters". Anyway, what do you think of the proposal ("List of [Arc name] episodes in Bleach")? Axem Titanium 22:50, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
- Okay, that's fine. Can we get a general consensus on changing them all to "List of [Arc name] episodes in Bleach"? Or maybe I should bring it up at WT:ANIME... Axem Titanium 18:00, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

"The" Soul Society or Soul Society?
Posting my doubts here. Ever since Artist cut down and condensed the plot summaries, I've seen instances of "the" Soul Society and Soul Society. Which one do we use?--Hanaichi 13:55, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
- I don't know which is one is the one we "officially" use, but to me just plain old "Soul Society" makes more sense. --Eruhildo 20:36, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
- Yes Soul Society makes sense, but I think we better clarify which to use.--Hanaichi 08:41, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
True Bloods
Hello I am not new to Wiki but am new to your work group. I was wondering if any more news on Ichigo, Karin and Yuzu bloodline, or rather Shinketsu,A True Blood, been posted or offically listed? For does that may not know but probably guess. Do to Isshin being a former but repowered Captain level Soul Reaper (I'm not saying he is a captain just at that level of power like Ichigo) his kids are Shinketsu, A true blood. I just wondered if anymore info has come about? And even if not all the info as been mentioned has anyone ever thought of mentioning the kids are True bloods in anyone of the Kurosaki family's articles? Heat P 03:38, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
- The Grand Fisher was referring to the fact that Ichigo was actually descended from a shinigami. All this "true blood" nonsense is speculation by fans. Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 03:50, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
- I wouldn't go as far as saying its fan speculation since it was mention in the manga and true blood is mentioned as well despite it being by Grand Fisher. But thanks for the info. Heat P 19:13, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
Soul Society
I was wondering if anyone was aware that Soul Society is under consideration for deletion? Does anyone have any opinions or anything to add to the article? Laptopdude (talk) 02:25, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
- On the same subject, both the Soul_Society and Hueco_Mundo are supposed to be merged into the main page. Is that discussion occurring anywhere? Because we're all ready about six weeks out from the AfD's, and they easily could be renominated if we don't get them straightened out... Xymmax (talk) 22:05, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
Ulquiorra Assistance
Alright, I'm going to be needing some assistance with this, since someone is going about vandalizing a certain something out. When this (http://usera.imagecave.com/WalkerTheRipper/WW/variation2.png) was discovered on Heat the Soul 5's character page, it was assumed (correctly, sort of) to be Ulquiorra's romanized last name. But, something else came up: http://usera.imagecave.com/WalkerTheRipper/WW/variation1.png That is from The 3rd Phantom character page. Several things point to that as the correct romanization: Kubo Tite himself is designing the plot and characters for The 3rd Phantom. And, lastly, the pronunciation. "Cifer" sounds more like "cypher", where as "Schiffer" is far more so on par with the actual pronunciation. Now, I've cited those, posted them in the discussion thread, and changed it back to Schiffer here and there, but something keeps reverting it...So, I'd much appreciate it if I can get a helping hand or two here. ^^;; —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.188.25.23 (talk) 08:13, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
- You're being reverted because you're only changing the article text. You need to move the article to the new name too (which will require you make an account). ~SnapperTo 22:14, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
Ah, I see...but how does that guarantee me that it still wont be reverted? :<
- It doesn't. It would be good to leave a note on Talk:Ulquiorra Cifer to state your position and invite discussion on the matter before actually moving it. If you obtain a consensus in support of your actions, then you are fully justified in doing so. Cheers, Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 19:11, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
Okies, it looks like someone took the liberty to do a move other than me. ^^ As for a discussion, its already present, just not active... Thanks, guys. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.188.25.23 (talk) 10:00, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
Guidelines
WP:FICT has been revised
WP:FICT, the notability guideline for elements within a work of fiction (characters, places, elements, etc) has a new proposal/revision that is now live [1] Everyone is encouraged to leave feedback on the talk page. Ned Scott 22:04, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
Wikipedia:Notability (serial works)
There is a proposal to split WP:EPISODE into a more general notability guideline, Wikipedia:Notability (serial works), and make the rest of WP:EPISODE just a MOS guideline. Bleach names
A discussion has started at Talk:Bleach (manga)#Bleach name concerning the article name and a request that it be renamed from Bleach (manga) to Bleach (series). The current name would seem to stem from our MoS listing manga, anime, etc as disambiguation names, and Bleach's first work being the manga series. However, some feel it should be disambiguated with series instead, as they feel manga gives the impression there is a separate anime article. I feel more folks should be involved in the discussion, because the outcome could potentially bring the need for a change in our MoS's naming section. Please also voice some thoughts on the #Soul Reaper vs. Shinigami issue. Lord Sesshomaru (talk • edits) 22:02, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
Arrancar and Hueco Mundo arc names and divisions are incorrect
From discussion at the episode list talk page:
- Where do the arc names and the list of episodes they contain come from? If that info is from the Japanese DVDs, shouldn't the Arrancar arc end at 131 and episodes 129 on be the Arrancar: Hueco Mundo Infiltration arc?
- According to store listings at neowing.co.jp, the DVDs of episodes 110 - 131 (link) list the arc as "破面 出現" which translates to "Fracture Face Appearance" which would be listed here as "Arrancar Appearance". Likewise, the two listings that contain episodes 132 - 139 (link 1 and link 2) have the title "破面・虚圏 潜入", which translates to "Fracture Face . Empty Circle Infiltration", which would be listed as "Arrancar Hueco Mundo Infiltration"
- I'd like to if this information is relevant before before making a series of somewhat major edits and page moves. --FortMax (talk) 21:50, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
- Though we should consider making a new arc (would maybe be from 166 onwards), I suggest to wait for the following (probably) 4 episodes in April to consider any arc arranging. Though Infiltration is a neat word itself, it can't reach enough episodes to fill it up. (Based on what has been decided and reached since the start of this article.) We are looking more of: "Hueco Mundo: The Assault", "Hueco Mundo: Battles Commences", "Hueco Mundo: Shinigami versus Hollow", "Hueco Mundo: Saving Karakura (or Orihime)", "Hueco Mundo: Aizen's Scheme", "Hueco Mundo: Countdown", etc. Just my thoughts, if you still are determined to split everything up, it'll definatly take alot of work and conversation-battles. Ge4ce (talk) 09:08, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
- It appears that episode 155 is the start of another arc according to this listing. This arc is titled "破面 激闘篇" literally "Fracture intense fighting". I'm not sure how it would actually be translated. "Arrancar Battles Arc", Arrancar Intense Battles Arc"? Anyway, this split is inline with Bleach arcs usually having about 20 episodes. The first Bount arc seems to be the one exception. Anyway, the arcs should be split ar they are in the official releases; the fine points of the names can be taken care of by a bot after the sames are settled on. Perhaps I should bring this up on the Bleach Project talk page? --FortMax (talk) 19:28, 12 April 2008 (UTC)

The arcs need to be rearranged if they are to be accurate, but a final decision on that to call the arcs needs to be made. Once this is done, the bect bet would be to move the two current arcs to the new first and third Arrancar arcs, and copy/paste the info for episodes 132-154 to a page for the second Arrancar arc. It will take some work, but the current episode listings are inaccurate and this needs to be fixed. --FortMax (talk) 18:51, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
Topics
Well, since topics are now part of the to-do list, might as well discuss them. I have my doubts whether the episode list of an unfinished anime can be brought through WP:FLC (as the article is inherently unstable), and I don't think the main article can be "audited" (or at the very least, it hasn't been done before). As for the episode lists that can be featured, fire away, although I would recommend anyone trying to bring them up to par informs other collaboraters so they can check up on the work, as the standards at FLC are much higher than they were when the first two episode lists were passed (as someone who has successfully nominated 37 FLs, with the second season episode list as one of my first FLs, I'm rather knowledgeable of this). The franchise topic is definitely something to look at, but getting the film articles to GA likely is the hardest part, given how much of the reception/production/etc. sources are not in English, and if we really want that topic, merging them into the main article might be necessary (as I don't think it's possible to write a GA on them given how far the standards for GAs at WP:GAN and WP:FILM have increased). Naturally, I'm certainly open to being wrong, but this is my perception of the situation. List of Bleach chapters needs a boatload of work to get up to par, List of Bleach video games is probably the closest to getting FL status (relevant models are List of Castlevania titles and List of Harvest Moon titles). For the characters topic, I don't see how one could persuade the WP:FTC regulars to define the topic as "major characters in Bleach" with List of Bleach characters as the main. As such, unless there is a pretty large amount of work put into merging and restructuring all the tertiary character lists (not to mention bringing List of Bleach characters to FL, something that I can safely say from my experiences with List of Naruto characters is no easy feat), this isn't something that is feasible at the moment. The video game topic is basically something mostly outside our scope. List of Bleach video games can certainly be taken to FL, but the individual games require someone actually familiar with them to get them to GA. So yeah, enough rambling. Discuss. sephiroth bcr (converse) 07:22, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
- Never said it would be easy; I wrote that list with the idea of "stuff we can probably get done within the next five years" in my head, not stuff for doing this month. I also wrote it as a personal list originally, as you might be able to guess from the somewhat rambling tone the section has. My basic point in posting it here was to try giving this taskforce long-term direction, and hopefully lead to discussion over how to trim and rewrite many of our articles that are currently unpromotable.
- For the franchise topic, Memories of Nobody should be an attainable GA, since its English release has been widely covered in the media. DiamondDust Rebellion will be a sticky wicket, and the upcoming film potentially even more so, but I'd still be willing to try. I agree on the non-English sources issue, and really wish ja.wiki was better at referencing their pages so we'd at least know where to start looking. I know of one potential source for production/conception info on DDR though, an interview from that WSJ issue last winter with the "Hitsugaya writes emo poetry" flashback in it, but that's probably all I'm going to find.
- List of The Simpsons episodes is an FL despite not being complete yet, incidentally, so I don't think Bleach being an unfinished series is a valid FL concern. Consider it this way: List of Bleach episodes is inherently unstable, yes, but to the extent of approximately 0.5% per week and falling. Granted, standards have changed since the Simpson's page was promoted, but my inner sneaky self says that if all else fails, nominating their page for FL review, watching the flood of keeps, and then using it as precedent would probably work.
- I agree that the current characters situation is somewhat on the atrocious side of unworkably awful, though I maintain that's mostly Kubo's fault. Wikipedia best practices with regard to fiction writing just don't mesh well with the idea of a 150+ character universe with the jargon density of a medical journal. I'm attempting to redraft the main list in my userspace right now, and simultaneously, the whole organization of the characters articles, but I'm still mostly at the brainstorming phase. A couple of the interviews Kubo gave when he was stateside this year look to be godsends though, since he's finally actually discussed character inspirations a bit. (The interviews also give the impression that English Bleach fandom is way bigger than the Japanese fandom, at least proportionally, which surprised me.)
- On the topic of character merges, I'm going to wait until I have the main listed redrafted, but after that I plan on going for a major trimming effort to eliminate oneshot villains and the like. From what I'm seeing, the only GA-able individual character pages right now are Ichigo, Rukia, and Ishida, which would suggest merging the rest of them. There's also really no point in keeping around info on Bounts other than Kariya and Yoshino anymore, and the number of oneshot arrancar we list similarly need to be trimmed down. I'm not too comfortable with that level of slashing though, because a lot of the pages will inevitably build up enough 3rd party info in the long term and I hate to cut something just because it isn't notable in English. To make matters worse, even massive cuts would still leave us with tons of lists because we can't do a simple good guy-bad guy division. The absolute minimum number of lists I can see us having is four: List of Bleach characters, List of Soul Reapers in Bleach, List of Hollows in Bleach, and a List of humans in Bleach which acted as a miscellanous list by broadly construing "humans" to include Quincy, Bounts, Modsouls, and non-shinigami SS residents in addition to the standard flesh and blood type.
- Bah, this discussion is making me nostalgic for the days when the biggest Bleach-related editing task was keeping accusations of lesbianism out of Tatsuki Arisawa. --erachima talk 08:28, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
Renji
Someone seriously messed up the en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Renji_Abarai page. I just fixed this myself but I think an admin needs to be watching this page, I just restore it to what it was at 2pm eastern time when i was reading it, I went to another page and came back and it was ruined, please have a admin watch this page.2BARQUACK.COM (talk) 21:30, 5 November 2008 (UTC) sure thing. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.229.142.37 (talk) 13:09, 10 October 2009 (UTC)
The movies' english and japanese names
i noticed that the bleach movie articles arent updated. for example instead of saying shinenju or something, they still keep it as memory rosary or instead of owiin it's still "king's Seal".
maybe instead we can do is put in the official name and put the nihongo template to give the actual meaning.
ALso i have noticed that List of Hollows in Bleach uses spanish translations even though no sources saying so. it could be confused by Original research and be challenged.Bread Ninja (talk) 15:57, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
Guidelines Revision
So the thing here is do you want to go with the outdated viz that is only at 30 released volumes out of 48 or do you want to go with the japanese media which is updated weekly because you can't go with viz on some things and the japanese media on the others.--150.212.72.23 (talk) 18:35, 8 December 2010 (UTC)
