:: No, she definitely quit DS9 before getting the job on Becker. I heard it from Armin Shimmerman. When she quit DS9 (over a pay dispute), she was told she'd never work in Hollywood again, and she ended up getting the job on Becker just days later. I also heard (from somewhere else -- I don't remember where) that she was making less than the other cast members, hence her displeasure. Career future
At the B & L Productions Autograph Show in Valley Forge, PA in May of 2005, she mentioned how she and her husband (Brian Baker, The Sprint Commercial guy) now live in Pennsylvania, where her husband is from. She is more concerned with raising their young child (can't remember if it's a boy or a girl) than making a full-time return to acting, at least at this time.
Quitting DS9
Can anyone provide sources that provide info on why she quit. My understanding is that SHE made the decision to quit, not the other way around. She was killed off perhaps as punishment, but she'd made the decision to quit at the end of the season. I do have a source for this in the DS9 Companion, p 586 - printed in 2000. --76.229.201.227 02:53, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
