Update Wikipedia entry: Official: Australian Fabians

Hi Donama

Can you update me on the verification process to be adopted with regard to our entry.

Pauline Gambley National Secretary Australian Fabians Inc. — Preceding unsigned comment added by PVGOzFab (talkcontribs) 01:27, 20 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

(Presumably regarding "Australian Fabians")... You can go ahead and edit/remove anything that is incorrect. In theory every piece of information should be cited and thus verifiable by some secondary or tertiary source. In practice, uncontroversial information is often added and no reference is cited, but this kind of information may be challenged by yourself or any other editor. Hope that answers your question. Cheers, Donama (talk) 01:55, 20 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Autopatrolled

Hello, this is just to let you know that I have granted you the "autopatrolled" permission. This won't affect your editing, it just automatically marks any page you create as patrolled, benefiting new page patrollers. Please remember:

  • This permission does not give you any special status or authority
  • Submission of inappropriate material may lead to its removal
  • You may wish to display the {{Autopatrolled}} top icon and/or the {{User wikipedia/autopatrolled}} userbox on your user page
  • If, for any reason, you decide you do not want the permission, let me know and I can remove it
If you have any questions about the permission, don't hesitate to ask. Otherwise, happy editing!HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 03:38, 28 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, HJ. Cheers Donama (talk) 04:23, 28 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Pitjantjatjara People

As you requested (3 Feb) I've added a reference to support my statement at Pitjantjatjara people that loss of one of two identical adjacent syllables (ie haplology) occurs within the language name 'Pitjantjatjara'. It likewise occurs in 'Yankunytjatjara' so I might add the comment there as well. Within Pitjantjatjara (and indeed all Western Desert Language varieties) this *is* pronouncing it properly. cheers Dougg (talk) 05:28, 23 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Here and here. I hope your enquiries purely stem from interest in the discourse and nothing more... Timeshift (talk) 10:06, 9 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
