Actually, he did play heavy metal. Him and Mike used to do metal covers under a couple of names including "Condom", "Blood Rage", and I think "Trebuchet" but I can't be sure on that one. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.255.37.229 (talk) 04:58, 10 January 2011 (UTC) |

All I know is that he liked heavy metal. If you can find a source for it, then heavy metal stays. Untill then, no.--Revilal90 (talk) 07:38, 22 March 2011 (UTC) |

Incorrect information
It has come to my attention that there is some incorrent information on here, such as, it says his father died on September 10, 1981, when he was 10 years old, the year he died should be changed to 1982, it also states on here that he was 12 when he met Mike Dirnt, but if you watch interviews with them they say that they met each other at 10 years old, and it's says that the demo tape they recorded with Sean Hughes was featured at the end of Green Day's Kerplunk!, this is not true, what's featured and the end of Kerplunk! is their Sweet Children EP from 1990, Sean Hughes left Green Day in 1988, so that is not true, this should be changed too. --Chickenguy12 (talk) 05:36, 31 July 2010
And I also heard that they met a few months before his father's death, but I'm not really sure if it's the truth or not.
Genre
Hi, I deleted: -heavy metal: because he used to like not play it when he was young. -hard rock: he never played that. any source? -new wave: he only helped the new wave band "the network"
And I added Garage Rock, because that's what The Foxboro Hottubs play. --Revilal90 (talk) 16:03, 2 August 2010 (UTC)
No, he didn't just help The Network, he was in The Network, so re-add New wave, also, he did used to play heavy metal when he was a kid, and he played hard rock, so i re-added those. --Chickenguy12 (talk) 09:38, 6 August 2010 (UTC)
