Song |
"Right There" is the third single from American recording artist Nicole Scherzinger's debut album, Killer Love. It will be released by Interscope Records on May 17, 2011 in the US and on June 5, 2011 in the UK. The song, featuring American rapper 50 Cent, was written by James Scheffer, Ester Dean, Frank Romano and Daniel Morris.
Background
Although two singles from Killer Love, "Poison" and "Don't Hold Your Breath", have already been released in the European market, "Right There" serves as the album's first American single[3] and feature American rapper 50 Cent.[4] Right There is Nicole Scherzinger's first American solo single since "Puakenikeni", from her unreleased album, Her Name is Nicole.
There are two versions of "Right There": first version was the original mix, which features Scherzinger entirely and was released in the European Edition of Killer Love. Producer Jim Jonsin stated the he began to re-work the track to feature rapper 50 Cent. Jonsin suggested the track is tipped to be Scherzinger's first US single.
Music Video
The music video premiered through Scherzinger's official Vevo account, on May 4, 2011. Scherzinger released two versions of the video, which both premiered the same day. First version of the video was for the original mix of the song. Then, the second and final version was for the re-worked mix of the song, which features 50 Cent. The video became popular in many countries. It produce over a million viewers in just one day.
