The season started 2 weeks later than planned after the [[2011 Brisbane flood|2011 Brisbane floods]]. [[Rocklea United Soccer Club|Rocklea United]] were the worst affected club, and have not played at their home ground all season. The league table is close as the season nears the half way mark, with [[Ipswich Knights]] leading after 10 rounds. At the bottom, [[Toowoomba Raiders]] lost their first 10 games of the season, only scoring 3 times during these matches.

Brisbane Premier Division 1 is the second tier of the men's senior football (soccer) competition in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, run by Football Brisbane. The teams that finish in the top 2 are promoted to the Brisbane Premier League, while finising in the bottom 2 will lead to relegation into Division 2. There is also a finals series at the end of the season.
