The Pokémon series started in 1995 as Pocket Monsters Red and Green versions for the Game Boy. Since the introduction of the English version and the Anime series, Pokémon has became very popular. Below is a list of all Japanese Pokémon games with their release dates and system they released for. Romaji transcription are in brackets.
