⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Yuvan Yuvathi poster.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

PLEASE NOTE:

  • I am a bot, and will therefore not be able to answer your questions. If you have a question, place a {{helpme}} template, along with your question, beneath this message.

Your request for rollback

Hi Secret of success. After reviewing your request for rollback, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war.
  • If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
  • Use common sense.

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! FASTILY (TALK) 06:44, 1 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

size

You have any problem, with the size of hyderabad - as per reference, what do u suggest by unexplained reverts of urs, wikipedia doesnt go as per editors will, the article is already tagged reference may not meet the criteria, including what is mentioned in source is okay, untill the tag is placed, you are going against 3 revert rule,

(Dragonbooster4 (talk) 10:49, 1 September 2011 (UTC)).[reply]
Dragonbooster4, Secret of success reverted you exactly twice on this issue, as far as I can see. That is perfectly acceptable, although I admit that an edit summary would have been nice. Secret of success, could you please explain on the article's talk page why you reverted DB's change? The source seems a bit unclear to me. But Dragonbooster, there is no "going against 3 revert rule"; by definition, that rule says "no more than 3 reverts in 24 hours". Perhaps a better question is this: why did you change it in the first place? Qwyrxian (talk) 12:38, 1 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Please look at the Hyd talk page or consult User:Omer123hussain for confirmation that Hyd is only the third largest urban area. Behind it are Delhi with 1000+ sq.km and Bangalore with 700+(Area is mentioned in their pages). Then naturally it must be third. Secret of success (Talk) 07:48, 3 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds fine. Originally had two points: one, to you, is that it would help if you would use edit summaries; looking over your recent contributions, I'd say you're using summaries only 10-20% of the time; a good goal is 90-95%. That will help other editors understand why you're making the changes or reverts that you are. The other point was to Dragonboster4--that xe was changing stuff without a good explanation--but that point ultimately doesn't matter anymore since xe was blocked indefinitely as a sock of a blocked editor. Which, btw, should make the editing environment at Hyderabad, India much nicer. Qwyrxian (talk) 09:51, 4 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

status of hyderabad india

Requests for page protection

Hi there,

Just to let you know, you should put requests for page protection at WP:RPP at the top of the page, not the bottom. The bottom bit is for actioned ones, and if you put a new one there, it might get cleared away by mistake. I've moved it now, and actioned it. Regards, GedUK  14:33, 9 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, sorry about that and Thanks! Secret of success (Talk) 09:23, 10 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use File:Anna centenary library.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Anna centenary library.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. —SpacemanSpiff 10:27, 20 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Zee News

Is obviously WP:RS. If you have any doubts, go ask at WP:RSN but please don't remove the reliable source. Scieberking (talk) 03:25, 22 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I think we have been through this before on the Enthiran talk page. Let me refresh your memory: THERE ARE NO INDISPUTABLE SOURCES FOR GROSS SALES FIGURES OF INDIAN FILMS!!! I would just say that film XYZ is in the top 5 or top 10 grossing Indian films as of 2011, and be happy about it. If you guys want to argue, that's your business, but I will not participate. Slang, accent, dialect

For a common person from India slang, accent & dialect are all one and the same.He uses these terms irrelevantly.Okay, let me come to the topic.'Thosai' is the correct Tamil pronunciation of the word.Tamil words don't start with 'dha' ,'ra' 'Ra' etc.Dhosai is a corrupt form of thosai just as sozhan is the corrupt form [Cholas|Chozhan]].(Arun1paladin (talk) 12:09, 29 September 2011 (UTC))[reply]

Hi. Being an article about Chennai the food item's name should referred to as 'Thosai'. For the article Dosa we may include 'Thosai' as a Tamil name. But here this name needs to be prominent. Doctor muthu's muthu wanna talk ? 08:19, 1 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

awards section:

u need to carefully observe something there, the awards section is talking about (Kind of awards) not who recieved which awards, further it is not talking about NFA, it is only talking about NFA regional, if u include who recieved which award, then it is disputable, there is no POV involved here thank you i will create username (183.82.224.49 (talk) 13:17, 29 September 2011 (UTC)).[reply]
