The discography of British-Irish boyband, One Direction consists of one studio album, five singles—including two as a featured artist and five music videos. The group was signed to Simon Cowell's record label Syco Music[1] , which is a subsidiary of Sony Music after being formed and coming third on seventh series of television show The X Factor (UK). The group was later signed in North America, to Columbia Records.[2]

One Direction made their debut in November 2011 with the studio album Up All Night[3]. The album peaked at number two in the United Kingdom, selling 468,000 copies to become the sixteenth best-selling album of 2011.[4] The first single "What Makes You Beautiful" was released in September 2011[5], and topped the Irish[6], Scottish and UK charts becoming the fastest-selling single of the year at the time.[7][8] "Gotta Be You" was released 11 November 2011[9][10], peaking at number three in the Ireland and UK.[11][12] "One Thing" became the second single to be released in Europe, 6 January 2012.[13]
