Adventure Time is an American animated television series created by Pendleton Ward for Cartoon Network. The show originally began in 2008 with a pilot for Random! Cartoons on Nickelodeon, and launched as its own series on April 5, 2010. Its third season ended on February 13, 2012, its fourth began on April 2, 2012,[1] and the show's writers have begun work on the fifth.[2]

Note: The episode became somewhat controversial because of an allegedly implied relationship from the past between Marceline and Princess Bubblegum.[57] The accompanying "Mathematical" video recap caused more controversy about these implied lesbian relations between Princess Bubblegum and Marceline by making it seem as if the writing staff actively seeks input from fans.
