"Politically charged" statements vs. "politically charged" content/NPOV

I would encourage the person who deleted content from the page to discuss first, and bear in mind that NPOV is not obtained by removing POV, but adding POV. WP:BLP trumps all of this. You cannot have potentially disparaging statements on an article about a living person without references. That's why I deleted it without adding {{citation needed}} tags. — X96lee15 (talk) 14:15, 5 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Perusing X96lee15's edit history and user page, a great deal of common background and interest between Mr. Granderson and X96lee15 becomes apparent. I am just going to go ahead and ask: X96lee15, are you in fact LZ Granderson? WP:CONFLICT — 164.107.38.165 (talk • contribs) has made few or no other edits outside this topic. Mr. Granderson I presume, rather than getting into a semantic debate over the "letter of the law" here on Wikipedia, I would just ask you this question: do you really believe that editing your own Wikipedia page to strike important facts about yourself that you consider unflattering is in keeping with the spirit of Wikipedia's Conflict of Interest policies? Dude, I am not LZ Granderson. WP:BLP trumps everything, which is why I removed the initial statements without adding {{cn}} tags and is why I haven't deleted those same statements again now that references have been added. — X96lee15 (talk) 16:03, 5 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
