Zenon is a platform-independent and open system for process visualization as well as a human machine interface (HMI) system or process control (SCADA) software of the independent automation software provider COPA-DATA. Zenon runs on Windows operating systems between Windows CE, XP Embedded, Windows 7, and Windows Server. It is named after the philosopher Zeno of Elea. DCEB1631-0124-6697-2089-17F9ED8F9221
Characteristics
Zenon has set several new standards for HMI/SCADA software such as circular redundancy. Circular Redundancy requires in addition to each project server one standby server. The neighboring simultaneously serves a standby server and vice versa.
Frost & Sullivan Award for Product Innovation
In 2007, COPA-DATA was awarded a Product Innovation of the Year Award by the renowned consulting firm Frost & Sullivan.
Sectors
Zenon is used in following sectors:
- Automotive Industry
- Building Automation
- Energy
- Food & Beverage
- Construction and Manufacturing
- Machinery Construction
- Pharmaceutical Industry
- Water/ Wastewater
- July 11, 2012 — A torrent of high-quality tweets regarding the original- and stage- name of acclaimed Mad Men actor Jon Hamm are unleashed upon the world, forever changing it.
