Sailor Tin Nyanko is the fourth of the Sailor Animamates to appear in both the manga in the final season of Sailor Moon, Sailor Moon Stars. She and her fellow Animamates have been tasked by Galaxia to collect "true starseeds" of senshi to enable Galaxia rule the universe. She takes a human identity, Suzu Nyanko, when stalking her chosen victims.

Her student name, as does her senshi name, uses the colloquial Japanese term for "kitten" or "cat" rather than the proper term, "neko". As with Iron Mouse and her "chuu", the word "nyannyan" [1] is onomatopoeia for a mew, rather than a proper noun. "Nyan" is turned into a feminine name with the "-ko" suffix. "Suzu" means both "tin" and "bell" [2], reminiscent of the bells cats traditionally wear around their necks.

She appeared in the Seramyu musicals Sailor Stars and Eien Densetsu but was cut from the second musical when it was revised.

In the manga, Tin Nyanko appears in Act 45 at Juuban High School as a new transfer student from Libya. As did Lead Crow, Nyanko confronts people from her home planet, Mau -- in this case, Luna, Artemis, and Diana. Her "Galactica Puppet" attacks on them first transform them into their humanoid selves, then erase their crescent moon markings on their foreheads and turn them into ordinary and badly injured cats. It is revealed that Sailor Tin Nyanko killed Sailor Mau, the Sailor Senshi of her home planet. This is further confirmed by Luna calling her a "flawed imitation of our planet's single hero, Sailor Mau" in Act 46.

In the anime, Tin Nyanko made her appearance in Episode 188 as a rival to Sailor Lead Crow and Sailor Aluminum Siren. She was partly responsible for Siren's death, and was subsequently partnered with Crow, who resented her for causing the death of her partner and was wary of her underhand tactics. The unhappy alliance continued until Nyanko saw her chance and attacked Crow in Episode 193. The attack led to Crow's death, and Nyanko continued her mission against the Sailor Senshi alone, now equipped with the knowledge of Sailor Moon's true identity. She adopted numerous disguises to get close to Usagi Tsukino eventually confronting her at her school. During the ensuing battle, one of her bracelets was knocked off by Sailor Moon's healing, allowing Nyanko's true personality to partially assert itself. Left with a split personality, she was torn between her duty to kill the Sailor Senshi and a new urge to rebel against her master. Sailor Galaxia resolved the situation by removing the remaining bracelet in Episode 195, telling her that her duty was complete. She disappeared, leaving behind a golden bell she wore on her uniform.

She was voiced by seiyuu Ikue Ootani.
