If you are talking about removing the # from the links, whenever I do that, I'd have to clear my cache so it won't be remembered in my browser search seeing as I am on Mozilla Firefox. As for the update for Aries, it was to expand the plot for the version seen in Marvel Anime. For the reference to Lion-Mane in a commercial was just miscellaneous info unless you prefer to list the section under commercials. Rocket Raccoon's part was just sorting the upcoming television appearance from the video game appearance. Rtkat3 (talk) 6:40, May 1 2012 (UTC)

I will remember this. As for the edit summaries, I will have to either add the info in there until they are cleared by the next cache clearing. Rtkat3 (talk) 7:00, May 1 2012 (UTC)

The Avengers protection

The protection was just lifted and the page automatically got hit three times by IPs. I think an indefinite protection might be in order.--TriiipleThreat (talk) 17:50, 7 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Requesting your calm guidance

There is an anon IP, -76.189.114.163, at Talk:List of African-American firsts, who, while other editors are discussing disagreements maturely, is filling the page with constant taunting comments that make him sound like a 16-year-old who's pranking me to see if he can get me upset. He's started using the taunt "Tenebrat" at every mention, and he has some obsession with needling me. I've suggested RfC and other dispute-resolution processes, and he laughs and taunts and insults at every turn. There was an AN/I involving him today, since he was accused of edit-warring and trolling.

I can't take his taunts too seriously, but it's getting tiresome since he and another editor want to completely overhaul the article in their vision without seeking broader consensus. They both make extremist "all or nothing" statements. And both of them, especially the other one, post walls and walls of words. You know the type and I'm sure you know the situation.

Is there any way you could post a reminder about civility, and your thoughts on the best way to seek broader consensus? I'm concerned things are going to escalate and a long-stable article, which could certainly use some fixing and pruning, is going to get decimated by two editors who refused to seek out broader consensus for their major overhaul. Thanks for any look-see — I know these sorts of things must be incredibly tiresome for you, and I admire your hanging in there as an admin. With regards, --Tenebrae (talk) 01:48, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

And now he's crossed a line. In addition this constant taunt, 76.189.114.163 has now dug up a request for help I made for a Wiki addiction back in 2006 — six years ago! — and plastered [Talk:List of African-American firsts]], in a misguided effort to, I suppose he thinks, humiliate me. I've tried to be calm with him, but I think this crosses a line. Please help.
You might already know, if you monitor Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents, that admin Floquenbeam (talk) has already warned him about his troll-like behavior with other editors today. This guy is on trolling rampage and nothing I've said or done seems to help. This latest thing — the work involved in going through years of my talk page looking for "dirt" — seems obsessive and it's certainly malicious. --Tenebrae (talk) 02:09, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
J Greb, this user calls me a “taunting, jeering, sarcastic and immature anon IP lowering the level of discourse"[1], among many other derogatory things, and then has the nerve to come here and declare incivility. That takes guts. He has acted as if he owns that article for the six years since he created it. And when other editors come along who have been working hard to improve it, he fights as hard as he can to oppose almost every idea and purposely refuses to address any questions or concerns presented, instead choosing to evade the issues by interjecting irrelevant comments. Take a good look at the entire talk page and the article's edit history of List of African-American firsts and it will become abundantly clear to you that he thinks he is the final word on the vast majority of edits people want to make. He also made five edits in five hours yesterday and an administrator had to warn him about it. --76.189.114.163 (talk) 02:15, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Guys, to be frank, I really don't have the time right now to wade through the wall-o-text on the article talk page.

So I would ask: Can each of you go over that massive debate an pick where you think the other fired first? I'll take a look at those points - at the point those edits were done, not as they currently stand.

Also - 76.189.114.163, between what you've "read" and blanked on your IP talk page, the ANI spat, and what Tenebrae's follow-up here points too, you really need to read and understand WP:CIVIL and WP:NPA. If you cannot/will not work well with others or insist on attacking another editor instead of actually working on article content, you will find your editing here short lived.

If you're sincerely interested in knowing the whole truth, look at both sides of the story. When someone continually mocks you and tries to ruin your reputation by making false accusations, you eventually are going to respond. Do you have kids? Do you know how to deal with bullies? Who cares about my talk page? Nothing's hidden. It's all there in the edit history. Forever. If I want to keep my talk page clean, that's my choice. It was actually an admin who taught me how to clear it like that. And was Tenebrae calling me a “taunting, jeering, sarcastic and immature anon IP lowering the level of discourse" civil? Or when he called me a six-year-old? Or all the other taunts and insults? Get the entire story before you start taking sides. --76.189.114.163 (talk) 04:18, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Clarification needs to be made. I'm going to stay out whatever tit-for-tat is going on between the two editors above. However, when I see my user handle being pulled into the fray, it's important folks understand I have never hurled mud. I take exception that I've made "all or nothing" statements. I take exception I haven't "sought broader consensus" when in fact I solicited opinions on 7 different WikiProject talk pages. "Major overhaul?" If wanting to improve the lead and setting a well-defined list of criteria for inclusion is labeled such, then I guess I'm guilty as charged. And lastly, I stated on the talk page I would be OK with Rfc, but quoted from the Rfc article "if two editors are in a dispute, seek a third opinion as Rfc doesn't qualify." Since I chose to steer clear from the personal attacks going on between the 2 editors, I advised them that while Rfc may not qualify in their situation, seeking a third opinion would. I guess neither of them pursued such action. But I have never refused Rfc. Whatever action you might pursue for the 2 editors above, please note that my discussions have always been on-topic and about content. The article's talk page and my talk page (where the 2 editors above have sometimes gone to take their conversation) reflect that. Zepppep (talk) 03:32, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Relax, Zep. :) You've done a great job trying to improve that article and always acted appropriately. Tenebrae took this complaint to three different administrators and didn't tell any of them that he reported it to someone else. So Greb's not aware that the other two admins already handled this matter and issued warnings. Don't worry, I told the other two that you did nothing wrong in all this. And you can't be blocked if you did nothing wrong. --76.189.114.163 (talk) 04:02, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
And JGreb, in answer to your question, the first fire was here, when Tenebrae falsely accused me of being a sockpuppet or meatpuppet, terms I didn't even understand at the time. Then he kept repeating it on the talk page and to other users. And administrator had said on a talk page that a user who keeps accusing someone of being a sockpuppet, without reporting it, is a great way of getting blocked. I was advised to tell Tenebrae to report it. He never did it, but continued his implications. Subsequently, today I believe, he apologized to the other user (the one he thought I also was) for making the accusation. But not to me. But the damage was already done because he had spent days trying destroy my reputation. Then, he continued with his repeated personal insults on the articles's talk page and the talk pages of other users. One of the most recent is when he called me a “taunting, jeering, sarcastic and immature anon IP lowering the level of discourse."[2]. So, yes, I finally gave it back to him as he continued because it's important to stand up to bullies. As I said, Tenebrae actually reported this to two other administrators who issued warnings, like this one. So, if you think it's productive to reopen this entire can of worms, go for it. --76.189.114.163 (talk) 04:02, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

IGN's Top 100 Comic Book Villains

I wanted to create a page similair to the one you have deleted, so I was wondering what your reason for deleting it meant? As AFI's 100 Years...100 Heroes and Villains is a similair thing to that, why was that page not deleted? Just out of curiosity. Karankyle (talk) 03:08, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
