Super Monday Night Combat (abbreviated as Super MNC and SMNC) is a free to play third-person shooter multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) video game developed and published by Uber Entertainment for Microsoft Windows. It is the second release set in the Monday Night Combat universe and and a sequel to Monday Night Combat. Uber Entertainment announced Super Monday Night Combat on August 24, 2011 during Pax Prime 2011. The game was accidentally released on April 17, 2012 on Steam. A patch was deployed hours later and on April 18, 2012 the game was officially released.

Uber Entertainment continues to release regular weekly updates to the game, adding Pros, maps, cosmetic items, and general balance changes.

SMNC is, like its predecessor, a class-based third person shooter where each team's goal is to destroy the other team's moneyball. This game, however, has more elements in common with multiplayer online battle arena games, rather than other class based shooters.

Gameplay
Gameplay
General
Inspired by Defense of the Ancients, a custom map and modification for Warcraft III, Super Monday Night Combat puts players in a familiar position but from a third-person preceptive. Players are begin playing by getting into a matchmaking system which picks the amount of required players in order to form a match, which is 10 in Super Crossfire and Turbocross, and 5 in Super Blitz. Players are then separated into two teams, the Hotshots and the Iceman and must chose the character they will be played, so called as a Pro in the Monday Night Combat universe.

The main objective of the two teams is to destroy the other team's Moneyball. To do so, they must venture beyond several turrets which can only be destroyed by pushing bots through their lane. Once the bots reach the enemy turrets, their shield will go down and the Pros can destroy the turrets all the way till the Moneyball. As Pros destroy enemy bots and kill enemy Pros they will gain money which will award experience points that increases the character's level and allows to upgrade skills depending on the chosen Pro. The money looted can be spent to spawn more waves of bots, purchasing products at vending machines to refill health and speed up the character, and activate multiple functioning buttons which vary in use depending on the map.
In Super Monday Night Combat, two 5 player teams fight each other to complete the game's objective, which is to destroy the opposing team's Moneyball. Similar to other MOBA games, each team spawns bot waves, which advance in order to destroy the opposing teams turrets, and eventually their Moneyball. Killing bots or enemies grants money, which can be spent purchasing additional types of bots and power-ups. The character the player uses is called a pro in SMNC, as opposed to a hero or champion in other games, and each has a unique set of skills that can be leveled up during a game as experience is earned.

Turbocross
Pro classes are divided into five distinct roles. Strikers are mobile, versatile Pros which can be useful in a variety of situations. Enforcers are high-health but low mobility Pros which can deal heavy damage with their close range weaponry. Defenders heal the team and lock down areas of the map with their powerful turrets. Sharpshooters deal in precise accuracy for damage and general debuffs for the opposing team. Finally, Commandos are low health but extremely high mobility Pros who can dash in to do heavy damage and escape before they can be killed. The rotation of 6-7 free Pros is changed every Thursday, though Pros can be purchased for the player to use permanently with cash or in-game coins earned by playing.
Since the gameplay was greatly changed from the predecessor Monday Night Combat, Uber Entertainment has released a gamemode which re-imagines the gameplay of it, called Turbocross.
In Turbocross, players play for the same objective as Super Crossfire, but are faced with multiple changes. Such changes include an instant health recharge upon using juice, purchasable and upgradeable turrets, no increased damage upon leveling up and many more. Due to the lack of players joining the Turbocross gamemode, the matchmaking has been set differently. Instead of putting the game server in a locked state, the game allows other players to join if a person leaves which decreases the amount of time require to find a match.

Super Blitz
Most of the action in the game happens in two areas of the maps, the lanes and the jungle. The lanes are the primary combat area where each teams bots spawn and move along their predetermined paths toward the enemy turrets and, eventually, Moneyball. Since the objective of the game is to destroy your enemies bots and push your own to the enemy base, this is where most of the combat in a match occurs. The jungle is an open area which allows Pros to quickly traverse the map and jump down in opportune situations, but it is populated by powerful neutral bots, making it a dangerous area. A superweapon known as the Annihilator is also in the jungle, and every five minutes it allows a team to completely destroy all of the enemy teams bots and heavily injure their Pros. Controlling the jungle, and therefore the Annihilator, is a key strategy in Super MNC.
Super Blitz is a horde survival mode which sets 5 players against the announcer of the game, GG Stack (voiced by Greg Stackhouse). The players must face horde waves of bots which aim to take down the players' Moneyball while being taunted by the announcer. As the match goes on, the announcer will take a break every 10 rounds which will allow the players time to build, rebuild or heal turrets and play various minigames to prepare for the upcoming wave of bots. Although this horde mode does not have an end, every 10 rounds before the break a final wave will begin which spawns the strongest type of bots, Jackbots.
