Biting the newcomers

Hello there! Just wanted to say that the warning you gave to User:XxlRusty seemed a little harsh for a first-time vandal... It could definitely be seen as biting the newcomers. Any reason you gave such a strict warning? -- GorillaWarfare ^talk 14:05, 10 February 2010 (UTC)

• The user was not a first time vandal. They had already been warned, the nature of the vandalism was quite nasty, and they were an active continuing vandal (extra vandalism while I was in the process of reverting). In those circumstances, a level 3 warning is appropriate per WP:VAN.Canthusus (talk) 14:41, 10 February 2010 (UTC)

Pork

There's no such an attitude of Hindus against pork alone. Probably it is common attitude to all types of meat particularly among Higher cast Hindus(but it's not common in Northeastern states, Kerala, Goa etc) Link that you posted as reference is not enough prove it. It is a major UK newspaper - it isn't down to Wikipedia editors who do nothing more than revert edits to decide such a publication isn't reliable. The reference does support the word pornographic as it refers to Daly as "a blue movie queen" (in case you need this pointing out - a blue movie is a porn film) and can be seen in "kinky videos featuring incest, bondage and lesbian sex scenes".

Toothpick

I just wanted to point out, that the net effect of a revert you made here here on April 11th, inserted some subtle nonsense sentence -- apparent reintroduction of graffiti into the Article, which lingered there, apparently unnoticed; I happened to randomly see this and remove by chance 15 days later.. just a reminder to please be careful about reverts, and double check against errors you might be restoring to the article, because apparently the reversions don't receive very prompt review.
