for your reversion on my talk page. However, I've reverted your reversion. It was his own post he removed, and he's a young editor that I'm trying (with difficulty) to get onto the straight and narrow. I think he was probably embarrassed about that post, and I don't blame him... It would disappear into the archive soon anyway, but he wouldn't know that. == Butoh edit ==

Hi,

I'm new to wikipedia editing and just wanted to add the information on Ken Mai's contribution to a recent music video to the article about butoh.

It was not meant to be advetising, but if the link to the actual video makes it that then feel free to edit it out. Anyhow, I am not a bot. If this okay, can you please undo the edit you did?

Best wishes,

Netsent

SKA

Hello, I'm Sophus Bie. I wanted to let you know that I undid one or more of your recent contributions to SKA Saint Petersburg because it didn't appear constructive. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Sophus Bie (talk) 19:42, 29 March 2013 (UTC)

Invasive arguta follow up

Hi Sophus Bie, thanks for your replies on this subject. Regarding what you wrote:

"If calling the plant "invasive" is not at all statistically supported, you can delete the section. Removing content is easily reversed, so if anyone disagrees, they can undo your removal."

This is exactly the situation we're in. Removing, re-posting, removing, re-posting. Is there no other way to resolve these contentions? Thank you. Iagohale (talk) 21:45, 29 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Human rights violations during the Syrian civil war

One-sided Claims Of Human Rights Violations Against The Syrian Government

I have just added some reasonable comments (and corrections) to counter the over-the-top and one-sided text in the "Human rights violations during the Syrian civil war" section. And within seconds my comments were deleted - "wow"! I pointed out that the one links lead to something called the "Women’s Media Center" and not as stated to Amnesty International. Also, some of the incidents reported were "undated allegations, labeled unverified, from a Palestinian news outlet". Given this, on what grounds were my adjustments removed? 78.147.85.14 (talk) 13:50, 30 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

OK, having lost track of time, your banning did seem to take seconds. That said, I do not just "believe" the article was biased - it is biased. So, while it might leave a VERY short article, are you really saying that one-sided text can be deleted? 78.147.85.14 (talk) 16:43, 30 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

hey

I was in middle of working on it. and you delete it? i save alot during editing incase computer crashes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.166.181.247 (talk) 13:53, 30 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Human rights violations during the Syrian civil war (follow up remark)

I do not just "believe" the article was biased - it is biased. So much so that it reads like a US State Department PR statement. Yet it appears that making counter-balancing edits is not allowed? 78.147.88.158 (talk) 12:58, 31 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you

Thank you for welcoming me. I am considering creating an account on Wikipedia, as you suggested. If I did so, would there be any way to “claim” my IP edits? (i.e., make it so that they are attributed under the new name in Edit History).
I would also like you to take a look at this article: Comparison of CRT, LCD, Plasma, and OLED. I think it should look more like this: [1] (lines starting with a capital letter and ending with a period, for proper grammar, thus making it easier to see where each comment begins/ends within a cell on the table). However, 174.118.142.187 (who recently created the table) thinks otherwise; since I really don't want to cause an edit-war on the issue, I thought I would get the opinion of an established Wikipedia editor. If it makes any difference, Comparison of graphics file formats is an example of what I'd like to do with the page (color coded, thin table, but also using proper grammar, particularly in the “application” column).

You're welcome! Sadly, there is not a way to transfer user contributions between accounts, but you can put this userbox
IPThis user's IP is 172.16.254.1.

on your userpage to let people know those edits were yours, by typing {{user IP|IP ADDRESS GOES HERE}}. That's what I did for my pre-account edits, until my IP address changed when I moved. If you do decide to stick around, some good places for getting quick answers to questions are WP:Teahouse and WP:Help Desk. I also noticed that you've been doing copyediting, so you might enjoy joining the WP:WikiProject Guild of Copy Editors. If you do decide to get an account, send me a message so that I can connect the name with the number!

I agree with you that capitalization on each line and periods looks better, and I like the formatting in Comparison of graphics file formats better as well, but Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Tables disagrees with us both. (Oh well.) Sophus Bie (talk) 09:27, 9 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I have finally created an account on Wikipedia — I thought I would let you know.  Also, 174.118.142.187 and I have reached a level of agreement on the Comparison of CRT, LCD, Plasma, and OLED page, and the new table is filling out nicely.
