Rishard Matthews (born October 12, 1989) is an American football wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of Nevada. He was selected by the Dolphins in the seventh round of the 2012 NFL Draft, where he considered one of the best wide receiver prospects.[1]
College career
Matthews attended Bakersfield College before transferring to the University of Nevada, Reno. In his two years at Nevada he had 147 receptions for 2,243 yards and 13 touchdowns.
Professional career
Matthews made his first appearance on the stat log for the Miami Dolphins, in a losing effort against the Buffalo Bills on November 15, 2012. Mathews finished the Thursday Night Football game with one catch for 19 yards.
