It gets a lot harder to find news articles online when they're old, so I'll list the current hits from searching bestgore on Yahoo for future reference:

(The above are in order they appear, except for duplicates being moved up, as searched on June 10) Wnt (talk) 19:20, 10 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

To these Google adds

I use "?=" above because Google seems to lump together more than exact duplicates. The categories with 4 "synonyms" sometimes claim thousands of similar hits, which I didn't pursue. Wnt (talk) 19:35, 10 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Missing information

There should be information about the Anti-semitic and fascist attitude of this website and its owner, holocaust denier Mark Marek, who also condones the mass murder of Anders Behring Breivik, calling it "martyrdom": http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=a74_1346182895 - Exemplary, Anti-semitic and racist lecture on http://www.bestgore.com/open-post/jews-multiculturalism-rape/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.78.115.255 (talk) 12:01, 14 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

How can truth be "antisemitic"? Oy vay. It smells garlicy here.

I agree with the previous poster.

The guy that runs this website is a hate-filled anti-Semite. He's also Anti-US (he believes the US is completely run by "Jews"), and loves videos that show American troops getting murdered (they're "ZOGs" - part of the world-wide Zionist conspiracy!). His "criticisms" (more like an extreme Left-Wing psychosis) go far beyond Israel and Palestine and politics in general, to psychotic conspiracy theories where he justifies murder.

Here's a quote from the heartless psycho:

Whether Juba was real or not, and whether he’s one person or a few – nobody knows for sure. All we know is that there was a sniper in Iraq that took out a whole whack of ZOG mercenaries during their occupation of the country. Needless to say, a ZOG mercenary in a body bag is a good ZOG mercenary. All these twinky faggots do is rape children, abuse prisoners and secure trafficking of opiates for the ZOG cartel. It is said Juba sent more than 600 American soldiers home in a bag. This compilation of sniper kills from Iraq claims to show Juba’s work. Whether they’re all Juba’s kills is as debatable as whether Juba existed in the first place. Either way – it’s always a nice sight when a twink folds down like a sack of shit that he was.

The whole site is a haven for people that are racist, straight-up crazy, death-loving, left-wing crazy, right-wing crazy, etc.

neo-nazi included

as the two previous posters said, bestgore is soaked with neo-nazism. you cant go a few steps without falling over ZOG, zionists etc etc. for reference, here ar a few quotes: "Antifaschistische Aktion (Antifa) are an extension of Zionism, bred and financed to impose direct violence upon nationalists and patriots in countries where nationalism and patriotism still exist. Antifa support everything that’s disgusting and vile and oppose everything that’s noble and fair. There are many notable cases of Antifa fags imposing the destructive Zionist agendas by attacking patriots and nationalists."

or take this nice one: http://www.bestgore.com/holohoax/pathological-lie-holocaust-survivor/

one saption reads: Delousing Chambers – German Plan to Save the Lives of Jews and Gentiles

get this: The Auschwitz Plaques and the 6 Million Myth

and so on. That's why the neo nazi reference should be in the description mfg 2.240.207.171 (talk) 15:55, 14 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia articles are limited to reporting what has appeared in reliable sources. Calling the site neo-nazi without a cite is original research.--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 05:20, 15 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Concur. --Lexein (talk) 12:00, 15 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Also tend to concur with the person in the thread above, who wrote "The whole site is a haven for people that are racist, straight-up crazy, death-loving, left-wing crazy, right-wing crazy, etc."--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 12:12, 15 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Excuse me, but where do you see missing cites? There is more than one, e.g. www.liveleak.com/view?i=a74_1346182895 and www.bestgore.com/open-post/jews-multiculturalism-rape (see above "Missing information"). A classical Nazi myth is also the identy of "the" Jews and the Bolsheviks, see www.bestgore.com/execution/gulags-soviet-union-jew-run-camp-extermination-christian. Citing such texts signed by the author himself should be enough far away from "original research", so you either did not read carefully enough or you should tell why and where you see original research. Is it the term "nazism"? Well, at least heavy antisemitism should be proven. See also www.bestgore.com/about/, paragraph "Why Is Best Gore so Anti-Semitic?" and - signed again by Marek himself - concerning holocaust denial the whole collection on www.bestgore.com/holohoax/--88.77.7.42 (talk) 04:50, 22 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
When Mark Marek was arrested in July 2013, Edmonton Police Staff Sgt. Bill Clark described him as an “odd individual” who “is of the opinion that the Holocaust didn’t happen.”[14]. This is probably based on the section on the Bestgore site titled Holohoax. The primary purpose of the website is gore, but there is also a significant amount of Holocaust denial material. By sourcing, I meant mainstream newspapers etc, and there has not been much coverage of Bestgore.com except in connection with the Magnotta case. It probably is worth mentioning that there is Holocaust denial material on the site.--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 05:18, 22 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your quick answer. Could that mean that WP rules imply that a publication on one's own personal website - signed with the person's name - is less acceptable than a newspaper or magazine report? That would be quite a witty mistake of the rules... - What about liveleak.com and the text he published there? (http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=a74_1346182895) Could that/something on a website (like that) be accepted as a reliable source? (By the way: Having a look at it could be worthwile. It is a simply mad justification of the mass murderer - "martyr" - Anders Behring Breivik and his killing of 69 young people from eye to eye, not counting the victims of the bomb attack in Oslo before. And it is signed with his name and his usual "Vincit Omnia Veritas", including some delirious hails to "the Venir", "the Aesir", "the Ancestors" and a salute "to the brave who answered the call to the path of honor and courage": "may they live in the halls of Valhalla forever".) --92.73.28.57 (talk) 00:04, 23 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
The other sources mentioned above are primary, so it would take some original research or synthesis to use them to support the claim that Marek is a far right extremist. Marek presumably endorses the Holohoax section on his website, and this is why Canadian police described him as a person who "is of the opinion that the Holocaust didn’t happen." Since Marek is a living person, WP:BLP would apply, and statements about him would need to be sourced reliably and carefully.--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 04:55, 23 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks again for your answer and information. Shouldn't a strictly descriptive citation of his utterances and theses be acceptable and an important part of information? (After all this slightly strange gentleman would go straightly to court in various European countries.) And it would also be interesting where there is the line between original research and using a sheer synonym for a number of statements someone makes. If someone says "nationalize all private enterprises and put all their bosses in prison" it is still research to name that marxism? What a pity that there is no journalist or professor who ever publically summarized all those rants about "the Jews" and them being responsible for the deaths of millions of people (Stalin was a Jew...?) and being collectively criminal in one word. Well, then it needs academic education and research to say "it's not chocolate but ..." when something is brown like Mr. Hitler's uniforms and smelling strongly. - Nevertheless: Strict citations of this person's own words without any kind of conclusion and without using a summarizing synonym should be okay as a careful and spare usage of a primary source? (no support of any claim of anyone being this or that, simply listing some typical statements of the website's author!) If not: Hopefully a lot of people read also "Talk" sections to get the information which the article has to conceal. --92.73.28.57 (talk) 07:11, 23 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
R. v. Zundel is the famous court case in Canada about Holocaust denial. Its outcome in 1992 means that Marek's outpourings do not seem to be illegal under Canadian law (IANAL). The LiveLeak piece is a fairly routine piece of blog soapboxing, although its content may be offensive to some. The article does not say that Marek is a far right extremist or Holocaust denier, but sticks closely to what reliable secondary sources have said, mainly for WP:BLP reasons.--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 07:43, 23 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

neo nazi again

maybe the neo-nazi stuff shpuld be mentioned in an own short section, rather than in the headline? 2.240.207.171 (talk) 20:26, 14 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
