The Eurovision Young Musicians 2014 will be the 17th edition of the Eurovision Young Musicians contest. Candidates representing each participating European Broadcasting Union (EBU) member state will participate in a semi-final. Out of these candidates the seven best will be selected by an international jury and advance to the grand final were they will perform live on 31 May 2014 in Cologne, Germany.[1]

  •  BelarusBTRC informed Oikotimes that they would be withdrawing from Eurovision Young Musicians on 6 January 2014.[10]
  •  Greece – Greek interim broadcaster Dimosia Tileorasi (DT) are negotiating with the EBU over participating in the contest.[11]
