Rafael Anchía (born September 26, 1968) is a Democratic member of the Texas House of Representatives, representing the Dallas-based 103rd District since 2004. He had previously served on the board of the Dallas Independent School District.
Personal life and education
Anchia is the son of immigrants from Mexico and Spain.[1] Anchia lived in Miami as a child, where he attended and graduated from Miami Coral Park Senior High School in 1986. He is a graduate of Southern Methodist University and Tulane University Law School.[2] In college, Anchia triple-majored in Spanish, Latin American Studies, and Anthropology.[1]
