Hi Cincao03, I have unfortunately had to suppress some of your edits because they reveal too much personally identifiable information about you. We have a policy of protecting editors' safety by hiding such information if they share it. I'm really sorry about having to suppress your edits, and I know it's annoying, but it's for the best. Please don't re-add the information. For some useful information on privacy and safety, you can take a look at Wikipedia:Guidance for younger editors and Wikipedia:On privacy, confidentiality and discretion. Thanks, and sorry for messing about with your pages! —DoRD (talk) 14:33, 4 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

DoRD (talk) i can see if something like this were to happen agian could i get blocked. And why is this bad.

Hi, Cincao03. We care about the safety of Wikipedia editors, and sometimes younger editors reveal too much information about themselves. We remove that sort of information because, on Wikipedia, almost everything is visible to everyone, and that information could be used to harm you. Obviously, nobody wants to block you, and unless you violate the rules, we won't. If you have any other questions, you may ask them here since I have your page on my watchlist. —DoRD (talk) 14:47, 5 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

userbox

Hey ZappaOMati could you go to my userpage and try to fix that userbox, and put the image in there. Or do you know any one else that could do it. Cincao03 (talk) 21:28, 6 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I fixed it. Photo's a little big, so feel free to edit the size. Zappa24Mati 21:41, 6 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Zappa24Mati Is there any way you could make this into a real infobox. With a code.

Your recent edits

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

 1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
 2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 00:00, 7 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The overwhelming majority of high school athletes are not considered notable enough for a Wikipedia biography. Only a very small percentage of top-tier college athletes are considered notable. Athletes playing at the fully professional level in top-tier leagues are notable. What in particular makes this high school athlete notable, in your opinion, based on our policies and guidelines? Cullen328 Let's discuss it 03:16, 8 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah He is number 2 in positiona and number 7 overall and comitited to Kansas, and will be one&done. [1]

I know but there are college recurites like this one like Cliff Alexander and Jahlil Okafor and they are not in the pros these three people are at the same level, what else could i do Cullen328 Let's discuss it. Cincao03 03:21, 8 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Alexander was ranked in the top 5 nationally for high school badketball players, and Okafor was ranked #1 twice, I believe. Does your guy have similar rankings? Cullen328 Let's discuss it 03:34, 8 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah He is number 2 in positiona and number 7 overall and comitited to Kansas, and will be one&done. [1] Cullen328 Let's discuss itCincao03 13:17, 8 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use File:Texas vs texas tech.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Texas vs texas tech.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

 1. Go to the file description page and add the text below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
 2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Nthep (talk) 20:03, 8 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Nthep (talk) Could you use it the right way please. The image is apporopate.Cincao03 20:06, 8 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The image might be appropriate but there is already a freely licenced image in use on that page on the end of the game pitch invasion, so the use of an image of the same event under the non-free use criteria isn't permissible. Nthep (talk) 20:14, 8 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I know Nthep (talk) but the this image shows the field view the otherone shows a few people.Cincao03 20:28, 8 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

So there is a possibility that there are other free images of the event then, so you upload still fails NFCC#1. besides let's consider the other nine criteria, all of which also have to be met. NFCC#8 says "Contextual significance. Non-free content is used only if its presence would significantly increase readers' understanding of the article topic, and its omission would be detrimental to that understanding." As you've described it "A image of the celebration of the game. A example of a pitch invasion" that sounds like something that could easily be explained without an image. There doesn't appear to be anything especially unusual about this pitch invasion against others that requires a number of images to add to the contextual understanding. Your signature

Hello again Cincao03! I'm afraid I have some bad new about your signature. First, it violates WP:SIGIMAGE which says Images of any kind must not be used in signatures for the following reasons:... So, I'll have to ask you to remove the baseball image. Second, it violates WP:SIGAPP which says Avoid deprecated markup such as the <font> tag.... Third, also part of WP:SIGAPP, is As some users have vision problems, be sparing with color. If you insist on using different colors in your signature, please ensure that the result will be readable by people with color blindness, defective color vision, and other visual disabilities. The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines recommend a contrast ratio of at least 5:1 for text – use this Contrast ratio calculator to help determine if the colors you choose will be visible to everyone. Wikipedia's talk page background color (on the default vector skin) is a very light blue (#F8FCFF). Other tools for checking contrast are described at Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Accessibility#Color. Your username is  5.9:1  Green tickY, your "0" which links to your contributions is  8.6:1  Green tickY, your "3" which links to your talk page is  3.6:1  Red XN. What I recommend is changing your signature to:

<span style="color:#C00">Cincao</span><span style="color:#00D">0</span><span style="color:#F0C;background:#000">3</span>

Which get's rid of the image, gets rid of the deprecated code, and changes the color for that last character to  6.3:1  Green tickY and will look like Cincao 03 . Thanks! — Technical 13 (etc) 21:42, 8 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
