:: Bootlegs often appear on Amazon – their don't have tight governance on their pages. The artwork in the above link matches the UK bootleg's. This is a big problem for artists. Chance the Rapper's Acid Rap has been one or the larger examples of this (unrelated to Amazon) [http://www.chicagoreader.com/Bleader/archives/2014/04/15/chance-the-rappers-acid-rap-gets-bootlegged-again-this-time-on-vinyl link]

Riff Raff

I keep trying to edit the 'Riff Raff' page as well as the 'Neon Icon' page and you keep reverting my edit. I cited my information properly so I don't understand why you keep deleting my edits. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Someguywhat (talkcontribs) 22:45, 15 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@Someguywhat: I already explained many many times. He released his debut album The Golden Alien in 2012. Unlike all his mixtapes, it was not also released for free legal download. It is only available for retail sale. Neon Icon is his major label debut studio album, but not his first album. Just as Good Kid, M.A.A.D City, My Own Lane and Oxymoron were not Kendrick Lamar's, Kid Ink's and Schoolboy Q's debut albums. Just major label debuts. We do not remove mention of The Golden Alien just because he wants to call Neon Icon his debut. STATic message me! 22:55, 15 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Linkin Park - The Hunting Party release date

I noticed your change of my release date change. The "first" date shouldn't be used because it causes confusion with all official information mentioned about the release of the new album. Linkin Park's official web site, Facebook page and YouTube channel as well as the Warner Bros Records website(the recording studio that is releasing the album) all say June 17th, 2014. That date should be used so that the page does not conflict with all official information. --Jimv1983 (talk) 20:22, 16 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please join the discussion on the album's Talk page. I'd really like to resolve this issue so that it reflects consistent information across all sources. --Jimv1983 (talk) 20:56, 16 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Kidd Kidd in G-Unit

How is official single artwork released by 50 Cent and G-Unit themselves not valid proof that Kidd Kidd is a member now? It's a first hand source.

Distortiondude (talk) 14:36, 17 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@Distortiondude: It is still WP:OR. As you can tell by the talk page, I am not the only one that disagrees with you. STATic message me! 17:46, 17 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Sting???

Stop overreacting. Its been confirmed. I get it...... BlackDragon 14:45, 17 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Dude, stop reverting sourced info and besides if you ever bother to check you would see I brought it to the talk page like WEEKS ago. BlackDragon 03:03, 18 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Radio Edit on Guilty All the Same

You know that's not how it works. It needs to stay as "Radio Edit" on Guilty All the Same, now change it back. I don't know why everybody's so sensitive about it one of these days. Just get over it. User:Skylar3214 12:00, 18 June 2014

@Skylar3214: What is your problem? Calm yourself down. It is proper in lower-case, where is the guideline that says both words should be capitalized there? That is not proper English, so I will not be changing it back. STATic message me! 07:27, 18 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, you will. It doesn't matter how it is. And I will not calm myself down, unless if it's changed properly. User:Skylar3214 10:13, 17 June 2014

@Skylar3214: Haha no I most certainly will not. You do need to take a chill pill. STATic message me! 17:18, 18 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I will not until you change it back! It's not proper for "radio edit" on Guilty All the Same! User:Skylar3214 4:42, 20 June 2014

The Dark Horse (Twista album) spam

Links to iTunes and BestBuy pages for purchasing music are not only not reliable sources, but they are WP:REFSPAM. They are clearly against policy. Please do not re-add them to The Dark Horse (Twista album). - MrX 11:53, 18 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@MrX: iTunes most certainly is a reliable source, you are not familiar with recent music at all if you think that. Links to iTunes are not against policy at all, you cannot purchase anything from those links, and they are used to prove that the singles were in fact released for retail sale. You will not find news sources reporting that obviously. You are just mad because your poorly thought out AfD failed, so stop trying to grab at straws to bring the article quality down by making content uncited. STATic message me! 17:22, 18 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
lol. I was the one who closed the AfD when actual sources were added. I guess you intend to edit war these references back into the article, so I will let someone else deal with it.- MrX 17:27, 18 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Ed Sheeran

I certainly don't understand the insistence on putting Ed Sheeran's album on the page, when we leave off most major R&B albums. And i'm not extremely familiar with his music but i don't think i've ever heard anyone call him a rapper our an R&B artist. Amazon puts the album under the pop category and AllMusic calls it Pop/Rock. Oh, and also the "he raps more then Pharrell" quote was the most hilarious thing i read all week. Koala15 (talk) 19:41, 18 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@Koala15: G I R L was a pop album, yet you were insistent on including it. I do not want to pull the race card, but come on. I meant on the albums that I had mentioned. Ed Sheeran is an R&B singer and as you can tell from his article and the album article, hip hop is very much an influence on his music. If you looked past his radio songs, he has full rap verses by him throughout some of his songs. At least one of the songs on the album I listed features only rap verses. If you are not familiar with the subject then do your research and stop reverting over and over like a wild man. STATic message me! 21:46, 18 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I guess i will take your word for it for now. And Pharrell is a rapper so he should be on the list no matter the genre. Also, which song does Ed Sheeran rap in? I would love to hear that ;). Koala15 (talk) 23:11, 18 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

"Sockpuppet"

That Wazzuppp account isn't mine. Don't be bitter and assume that i'm the only person that thinks that R. Kelly song is relevant. Have someone check my I.P if you don't believe me. — Preceding unsigned comment added by BlaccCrab (talkcontribs) 15:40, 19 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@BlaccCrab: I never said it was you... It is User: AffeL. STATic message me! 00:47, 20 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

So here is something i find to be really irritating, when i go to a Wikipedia page of a album and there is a link for a song on the singles bar or track list section i want to click that link so i could see information about the song(and the genres it is based on) but instead it just takes me back to the album Wikipedia page and is there any way to fix that? I will list some songs as examples: Deftones - Elite Black Tide - That Fire Breaking Benjamin - Evil Angel This is not songs only but links in general and i really wish there was a way to fix that(MTG980 (talk) 22:10, 19 June 2014 (UTC))[reply]

I should pay attention?

I simply reverted. I made no direct edit. I didn't mean to undo your edit, but don't forget WP:NPA Walter Görlitz (talk) 20:17, 20 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@Walter Görlitz: Yes, but you reverted my edit that was fixing a mistake you made here. If you look at your diff, the only thing that you reverted was my edit. There was no personal attack at all, I just asked if you could pay attention when you are reverting, so very important fixes do not get mixed in. STATic message me! 21:31, 20 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't see who made the three edits and reverted them all. I admit that was an error.
You commented on the contributor rather than the content. That was your mistake. That's what is stated at NPA. It's minor issue at best though.
Sorry that I didn't acknowledge my error above. Walter Görlitz (talk) 21:35, 20 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Eminem Discography

I got a message from another user that I can't edit in Eminem Discography unless its an official RIAA cerification . But the thing is the sales are already like at Encore 5 million so I just edited 4x Platinum and I made it 5x Platinum

Also at the singles I added the sources and all what needed and he deleted all those I'm not really adding somethin I'm just correcting some mistakes . — Preceding unsigned comment added by SlimJimmyBRabbit (talkcontribs) 15:42, 21 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@SlimJimmyBRabbit: Yes, we can only put certifications if the RIAA has officially certified it, even if the sales have exceeded the current certification. STATic message me! 18:16, 21 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

New artist notification

I have created and established the article on Big Smo, for you to edit at your leisure, editor STATicVapor.HotHat (talk) 06:43, 23 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@HotHat: Cool! After I had seen the ads on TV I was really racking my mind wondering how a musical artist could have their own reality show, but I had never heard of them and they did not have a Wikipedia article. STATic message me! 16:14, 23 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I will provide my sources now.

You reverted my change on Mike Will Made-It's page. I added Two-9 to his list of associated acts. Two-9 has appeared on Mike Will's last 2 mixtapes Est. In 1989 Pt. 2.5 and #MikeWiLLBeenTriLL. And Mike Will has produced tracks for their own mixtapes/albums. Also you removed the addition of CP Junior as one of the artists who responded to Kendrick Lamar's control song. Well here's proof http://youtu_.be/jVH-qVDS4V_s (no _) A rapper named CP Junior did do a response to Kendrick Lamar's Control. Please do not change my edits now.

@Claudface: Just appearing on two songs of his does not make them notable enough to list in the infobox. If they appear on the album then we can reconsider it. As for "Control", how old is that? CP Junior is not notable and that is why he will not be mentioned there. STATic message me! 16:19, 23 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

But Two-9 has not only appeared on his mixtapes, but he produced multiple tracks for their albums/mixtapes and is constantly promoting them on his Instagram. And as for CP Junior. Maybe not where you live but where I do, CP Junior is a very well known artist. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Claudface (talkcontribs) 16:34, 23 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@Claudface: Yet they are not mentioned a single time in his article, that shows how significant to his career they are. As for CP Junior, he does not have a Wikipedia article and you did cite your addition with a reliable third party source to prove notability. STATic message me! 17:43, 23 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Drake – Nothing Was The Same LP

There is a blue bootleg LP floating around from the UK for this album but no official LP has been pressed. Have you found something otherwise? Thanks. Charger2 (talk) 23:18, 23 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
