The United States men's national lacrosse team is one of the best national lacrosse teams in the world based on its championships and selection process. The team has won nine of eleven World Lacrosse Championships, including the last championship in 2010. The Canada national team beat the US national team in 1978 and 2006.
The US team usually consists of professional lacrosse players who play in Major League Lacrosse and/or the National Lacrosse League. Many of the team members are also on the boxlacrosse national team.
2014 team
US Lacrosse will currently has a 31-man roster that will decrease to 23 by the start of the world championship on July 10, 2014. [1]
