Hi Faizan, just a note: expanding existing articles is outside the scope. We are aiming at a particular set of objectives; create new articles and expand the region-wise lists. It would be great if you can chose a particular region, say [[List of cultural heritage sites in Gilgit-Baltistan|Gilgit Baltistan]] and add new sites + information about existing sites. Just to explain: these lists constitute the actual repository of the sites in Pakistan. Let me know if you have any questions. If you feel that I have reverted an edit or issued a warning in error, please click here and let me know. I am human and I do make mistakes. Please don't interpret an error on my part as a personal attack on you. I am always open to civil discussion. I will respond on this talk page unless you specify otherwise. Faizan

Can you help me?

Brother, some Indians are trying to remove information from 2001 Bangladeshi-Indian border skirmish. I have given a source from New Age: [1], New Age is one of the most popular English dailies in Bangladesh. Still they are removing the information. Can you help me? — Preceding unsigned comment added by A.Musketeer (talkcontribs) 14:31, 27 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Better discuss the matter at the article's talk, I have requested temporary page protection. Faizan 18:19, 27 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Reply - brother, please look at the article's talk page, you will see how I have discussed the matter. Yet again the same Pvpoodle guy is undoing my edit. — Preceding unsigned comment added by A.Musketeer (talkcontribs) 10:43, 27 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, mind if i invite myself to your little party? The link in question violates Wikipedia:Verifiability, WP:NPOV, WP:UNDUE, WP:Fringe and WP:QS which was why i am reverting it. despite several requests to discuss on talk page and even on his own talk page, musketeer either does reply on talk or when he does only presents the flimsiest of arguments to push his own biased views on the article. how is there no other source either bangladeshi or indian or neutral 3rd party which can back up this tiny minority view he is trying to include? Faizan from your contribs you seem a knowledgeable and reasonable sort of person, please try to educate and restrain your "friend" lest he try to continue his edit war.Pvpoodle (talk) 17:33, 1 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Nah, I don't mind. The figures that the director general of BD Border Guard provides are not supported by any secondary/third-party source, agreed. I cannot compel Musketeer. Faizan 17:50, 1 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I understand completely, i just hope that, in time, he learns and becomes a better editor. cheers and have a great day.Pvpoodle (talk) 18:04, 1 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

WikiCup 2014 June newsletter

After an extremely close race, Round 3 is over. 244 points secured a place in Round 4, which is comparable to previous years- 321 was required in 2013, while 243 points were needed in 2012. Pool C's Smithsonian Institution Godot13 (submissions) was the round's highest scorer, mostly due to a 32 featured pictures, including both scans and photographs. Also from Pool C, Scotland Casliber (submissions) finished second overall, claiming three featured articles, including the high-importance Grus (constellation). Third place was Pool B's , whose contributions included featured articles Russian battleship Poltava (1894) and Russian battleship Peresvet. Pool C saw the highest number of participants advance, with six out of eight making it to the next round.

The round saw this year's first featured portal, with Republic of Rose Island Sven Manguard (submissions) taking Portal:Literature to featured status. The round also saw the first good topic points, thanks to Florida 12george1 (submissions) and the 2013 Atlantic hurricane season. This means that all content types have been claimed this year. Other contributions of note this round include a featured topic on Maya Angelou's autobiographies from Idaho Figureskatingfan (submissions), a good article on the noted Czech footballer Tomáš Rosický from Bartošovice v Orlických horách Cloudz679 (submissions) and a now-featured video game screenshot, freely released due to the efforts of Republic of Rose Island Sven Manguard (submissions).

The judges would like to remind participants to update submission pages promptly. This means that content can be checked, and allows those following the competition (including those participating) to keep track of scores effectively. This round has seen discussion about various aspects of the WikiCup's rules and procedures. Those interested in the competition can be assured that formal discussions about how next year's competition will work will be opened shortly, and all are welcome to voice their views then. If you are concerned that your nomination—whether it is at good article candidates, a featured process, or anywhere else—will not receive the necessary reviews, please list it on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews. If you want to help out with the WikiCup, please do your bit to help keep down the review backlogs! Questions are welcome on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup, and the judges are reachable on their talk pages or by email. Good luck! If you wish to start or stop receiving this newsletter, please feel free to add or remove yourself from Wikipedia:WikiCup/Newsletter/Send. Hi, you created article on Tomb of Tharo Khan but this site is not yet listed in List of cultural heritage sites in Sindh. Instead the site is included in "Chitorri Graveyard" entry. Do you think we should merge this "Tomb of Tharo Khan" article with Chitorri article or leave it as it is? There're many tombs in Chitorri graveyard but very little information about those tombs available online/offline so it can make difficult to use to rest assure which tombs belongs to whom. --139.190.143.231 (talk) 11:13, 3 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I created the article from the main page of the edit drive, when Samar updated the image of it. I don't think that they should be merged, the list is incomplete. Faizan 11:19, 3 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Yes I know. Okay no problem . I will add entry for this tomb in our Sindh list. Thanks for you work.--139.190.143.231 (talk) 11:22, 3 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
A similar case is Tombs of Talpur Mirs. There're many tombs located in the complex but we've only listed them as one site in Sindh list. --139.190.143.231 (talk) 11:35, 3 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there,

You're doing an amazing job & I really like the way u are guiding me through the competition. I'll try my best to add reliable sources to each article or edit I make and from now on I'll add all those articles I create which are not in the template of the region of their site. Thanx again !!

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Bara Bagh Cemetery, Lasbela, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Lasbela. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
