Hello Bababa67, thanks a lot for the new year's greetings you left at my talk page; may you also have a happy and healthy 2015! I have something of a puzzle for you: Right now (but I expect that may change) your message on my talk page reads: "SineBot, Have a prosperous, productive and enjoyable New Year 2015 ..." While I too wish for SineBot to have a productive and prosperous new year, I don't quite think that's what you wanted the message to say. I have an idea of how your template could be changed to say, "Huon, Have a prosperous..." instead (automatically using the name of the user you sent the message to, of course). Do you want me to fix that, or do you want to figure out how to do so on your own? A clue would be Help:Magic words and maybe Help:Substitution (also useful if you want the message to include a timestamp). Yours, Huon (talk) 02:27, 2 January 2015 (UTC) <br>ISOCALENDAR

Merry Christmas

Happy Holidays!

Hi! Your user page is not semi-protected, and you didn't specify what you wanted doing to it anyway - or ask a question. Is there something you did want to ask about? Yngvadottir (talk) 16:22, 27 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome

Welcome!

Hello, Bababa67, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place Help me after the question on your talk page. Again, welcome!  Yngvadottir (talk) 16:30, 27 December 2014 (UTC) Yngvadottir (talk) 16:30, 27 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I notice you've been mainly editing your user page, this talk page - and a subpage for an unapproved bot. What's that about? Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and all, but does Σ know you are claiming to have an approved clone of lowercase sigmabot? I believe you will need to make some good article edits before you can get a bot approved for trial. Yngvadottir (talk) 16:30, 27 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry for being blunt, but I get the impression that you don't really understand what you're doing. For example, running a bot on Wikipedia requires approval by the Bot Approvals Group. Running a bot without approval would be grounds for blocking, not just for the bot but also for the operator. I'd strongly suggest not to bother with a bot right now but rather to focus on improving Wikipedia directly. Huon (talk) 02:17, 28 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Huon, Please protect my user page so they cannot vandalize --Bababa67 (talk) 02:25, 28 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I have semi-protected your userpage. If I protected it fully, even you wouldn't be able to edit it any more. Huon (talk) 02:40, 28 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Huon for supporting me --Bababa67 (talk) 02:50, 28 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Test edits

It's okay to make test edits in your userspace, but please don't 1) transclude guideline/policy pages or 2) copy material from bots and make it look like you have/are running an authorized bot. See the Wikipedia:Bot policy and the thread on this subject at Wikipedia:Bot owners' noticeboard#Bababa67. I've deleted your "signmabot" pages. –xenotalk 01:02, 29 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please also do not use templates like EBS that give the impression that you have a bot account, when in fact, you don't. --Redrose64 (talk) 10:15, 31 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Multiple Accounts

Stop icon It has been found that you have been using one or more accounts abusively or have edited logged out to avoid scrutiny. Please review the policy on acceptable alternate accounts. In short, alternate accounts or people to support you should not be used for the purposes of deceiving others into seeing more support for your position. It is not acceptable to use two accounts on the same article, or the same topic area, unless they are publically and plainly disclosed on both your and the other account's userpage.

Your other account(s) have been blocked indefinitely. This is your only warning. If you repeat this behaviour you will blocked from editing without further notice. Thank you. Mike VTalk 20:21, 29 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I have semi-protected the edit notice, but I want to be clear here: There was no indication of IP vandalism whatsoever. To me it looks as if the only IP editing the page was yourself while not logged in. Huon (talk) 13:55, 30 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I agree, Huon. Kelapstick, I think this is what you were asking about. Drmies (talk) 15:56, 31 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
