The 2015 NBA All-Star Game will be the 64th edition of the NBA All-Star Game, an exhibition basketball game that will be played on Sunday, February 15, 2015 in New York City. It will be held at Madison Square Garden in the borough of Manhattan, home of the New York Knicks. However, the All-Star Saturday events will be held at the Barclays Center in the borough of Brooklyn, home of the Brooklyn Nets. The two New York arenas were awarded the All-Star Game in an announcement on September 25, 2013.[1] and the logo for the 2015 All-Star Game was unveiled on July 10, 2014.[2] This will mark the fifth time that NBA All-Star will take place in New York, having been held previously at the old Madison Square Garden in 1954, 1955 and 1968, and the current Madison Square Garden in 1998. The Nets previous hosted the 1982 All-Star Game at Brendan Byrne Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey. [1] The game will be televised nationally by TNT.
