== Endora ==

I thought it might be worth mentioning in the article that the origin of the name "Endora" is "The witch of En-Dor" in the Old Testament. I think that was pretty clever of the writers.

Variations of spelling

I am posting this for any editors (I hope that some of you are still around) who worked on this list. Per the end credits here [1] it looks as though the spelling of Tabitha's name changed during the show's run. If WP:RS's can be found explaining why this happened it might be worth mentioning it in the article. MarnetteD|Talk 17:50, 11 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It changed to Tabitha with an I in "Samantha on the Keyboard," her first appearance in season five (1968). It's spelled as Tabatha with an A in the credits for seasons three and four (and I think once in season two). The only mention I've found for why the name changed is from Harpies Bizarre quoting an article by Mike Connolly in "Screen Stories," from February 1967: http://www.harpiesbizarre.com/tabstory.htm Mupept (talk) 07:55, 13 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your research on this Mupept. Do you think it should be mentioned in the article? If not as a full sentence (or two) maybe as a "footnote" - Thanks again. MarnetteD|Talk 18:18, 13 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I've just come across this page from Bewitched.net

http://www.bewitched.net/tabithaspinoff.htm There was a pilot before the Lisa Hartman Tabitha series. The pilot was named 'Tabatha' and starred Liberty Williams and aired only once. LavGreen (talk) 10:22, 16 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
