|ShortSummary = Laxus defeats Jura after a heated battle, bringing Fairy Tail to first place. Gray and Juvia then defeat Lyon and Sherria, while Erza activates her Second Origin to don the invincible Nakagami Armor, allowing her to defeat Minerva as well. As their last opponent, Sting comes out of hiding and challenges Fairy Tail, intending to claim victory by taking out all five battle-weary wizards at once. Stunned at the wizards' determination and unable to fight them, Sting surrenders, allowing Fairy Tail to finally win the Grand Magic Games. Millianna then reunites Sting with Lector, having found the Exceed during the games. When Hisui tells Darton that Sting's surrender is the "impossible" outcome, she initiates Eclipse 2, the Eclipse Cannon.

|ShortSummary = To Hisui's surprise, Lucy reveals that the Eclipse Cannon does not exist, and dragons from the past begin to emerge from the gate. With Lucy unable to close the gate due to the eclipsed moon's power, she and Yukino summon the twelve Zodiac spirits to close Eclipse, leaving seven dragons outside. Future Rogue orders the dragons to lay waste to Crocus. The wizard guilds fight the dragons, but are completely overpowered. Recovering from his injuries, Natsu appears on the city rooftops to challenge Rogue again.

|ShortSummary = As several wizards across Crocus are killed by the dragons, Ultear recalls her forbidden Last Ages spell, which is capable of reversing time at the cost of the user's life. Ultear decides to atone for her lifelong misdeeds by using the spell in an attempt to avoid the dragons' arrival in the present. Afterward, she discovers that only one minute has been reversed and collapses. As a result of her spell, however, the wizards are able to foresee and prevent their own deaths, including Gray's. At Mercurius, Lucy reunites with her friends near Eclipse with her future self's notebook, and reveals that they can return Future Rogue and the dragons to their respective time periods by destroying Eclipse once and for all.

|ShortSummary = On Mercurius, Lucy and Yukino use their celestial spirits on Eclipse in a knowingly futile attempt to destroy it. In the sky, Natsu realizes that Frosch from Future Rogue's timeline no longer exists, having been killed in one year's time, and tells Future Rogue that everyone will decide their own future. As the celestial wizards struggle to close the gate, Natsu finally releases his full strength and Atlas Flame helps boost his power. Together, they ram Rogue and Motherglare into Eclipse, obliterating the gate and saving Fiore from destruction. The dragons, as well as the future selves of Rogue and Lucy, return to their timelines. Before disappearing, Future Rogue forewarns Natsu that Frosch's death is what causes his change.

Meanwhile, the Saber Tooth wizards reconcile with Yukino and offer to let her return to their guild. Fairy Tail and the other wizards, however, begin to argue over letting Yukino join their respective guilds, resulting in a massive brawl. They calm down when Arcadios announces the king's appearance, only to discover Natsu impersonating the king as a practical joke. Later, Hisui is forgiven by her father for her plans after he punishes her to wear a pumpkin mask for one week.

He also reveals that Cobra has turned himself in, and forewarns them about the dark guild Tartaros. As a gift for their victory in the tournament, the city mayor presents the guild their original, newly renovated guildhall. Afterwards, Lucy and her friends accept a job to save a village that has been flooded with mud by a "mole" (a giant [[mudskipper]]). Learning from the villagers that the monster is looking for a mate, the wizards trick Lucy into capturing it, after which Virgo finds a female "mole" (a giant [[crayfish]]) for the male to mate with. List of episodes

The seventh season of the Fairy Tail anime series is directed by Shinji Ishihira and produced by A-1 Pictures and Bridge.[1] Like the rest of the series, it follows the adventures of Lucy Heartfilia and Natsu Dragneel of the fictional guild, Fairy Tail. The season contains three story arcs. The first 27 episodes continue the "Grand Magic Games" (大魔闘演武編, Dai Matō Enbu-hen) arc, which adapts material from the beginning of the 36th to the middle of the 40th volume of the Fairy Tail manga by Hiro Mashima. Focusing on Natsu, Lucy, and the others who have been frozen in time for seven years on Tenroujima, the members continue to participate in the Grand Magic Games, an annual competition to decide Fiore's strongest guild. However, they encounter a conspiracy involving the Eclipse Project and the imminent destruction of the Fiore Kingdom. The next 24 episodes form an original storyline called "Eclipse Celestial Spirits" (日蝕星霊編, Nisshoku Seirei-hen), in which the twelve celestial spirits of the Zodiac rebel against their owners Lucy and Yukino after being transformed by the black magic gate Eclipse. The third arc is "Tartaros" (冥府の門(タルタロス), Tarutarosu-hen),[2][3] which adapts material from the rest of the manga's 40th volume to the middle of the 49th volume. The arc depicts Fairy Tail's battle with a dark guild of Zeref's demons who aim to resurrect their master and Zeref's ultimate creation, E.N.D.

The season began airing on April 5, 2014 on TV Tokyo.[4] The first DVD compilation was released with the first issue of Fairy Tail Monthly magazine on July 17, 2014, renumbered as "Vol. 1".[citation needed] The season is simulcast by North American licensor Funimation Entertainment, subtitled in English on their website, and by Crunchyroll.[5] Ten pieces of theme music have been used for this season. The first opening used for the first thirteen episodes of the season, titled "Masayume Chasing", is performed by BoA[6] while the first ending theme is "Kimi to Kare to Boku to Kanojo to" (君と彼と僕と彼女と, lit. "You, Him, Me, and Her") performed by Breathe.[1] The second opening is "Strike Back", performed by Back-On, while the second ending, "Kokoro no Kagi" (心の鍵, lit. "Heart's Key"), is performed by May J.[7] The third opening is "Mysterious Magic", performed by Do as Infinity, while the third ending, "Kimi no Mirai" (キミノミライ, lit. "Your Future"), is performed by Root Five.[8] The fourth opening is "Break Out" by V6, while the fourth ending, "Don't let me down", is performed by Mariya Nishiuchi. The fifth opening is "Yumeiro Graffiti" (ユメイログラフィティ, Yumieiro Gurafiti, lit. "Dream-Colored Graffiti") by Tackey and Tsubasa, while the fifth ending is "Never ever" by Tokyo Girls' Style. The sixth opening is "NEVER-END TALE" is performed by Tatsuyuki Kobayashi and Konomi Suzuki, while the sixth ending is "FOREVER HERE" is performed by Yoko Ishida.
