Hi, knowing that you are a Wiki expert, I have a question for you. How do you set articles so that certain words put into the search box will automatically go to that article? Thanks for your help! --[[User:Martin925|Martin925]] 21:24, 6 August 2006 (UTC)

Hi. You ask the above question in relation to a protection message on the deleted Brian Peppers article. That's a good question. One answer that occurs to me is that this text will appear on many mirrors and so it's better that the link should go directly to the Jimbo page on enwiki than to some mirror. --Tony Sidaway 21:54, 21 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for contributing the impressive the pile of supports gathered on my RfA, which passed with a final tally of 0x0104/0x01/0x00. I'm happy that so many people have put faith in my abilities as an admin and promise to use the tools wisely and do my best not to let you down. If I ever may be of assistance, just leave a note on my talk page.
Misza13, the rouge-on-demand admin wishes you happy editing!

Heh, I take it you like PBF? I just came across you in the Soundtrack of Wikipedians and thought "Hey, I haven't seen Merv in a while". Will (Take me down to the Paradise City) 09:38, 23 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Un-Protection

Can you please unprotect User:Daniel.Bryant/GraalOnline, as I'm ready to give my mediation statement. Killfest2|Daniel.Bryant (Talk) 00:47, 24 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You were kind enough to comment on my peer review request for my article on the Bricker Amendment. I have now proposed it as a featured article and would appreciate your vote here. PedanticallySpeaking 17:13, 24 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

My RfA

Thank you so much for voting in my recent RFA. It passed on the relatively narrow vote of 38/8/8. It was also one of the least-participated-in RFA nominations in several months, so pat yourself on the back, and join the party on your left, but first, take your cookie!

NOTE: I can't code HTML to save my life. I copied this from Misza13. I guess I should write him a thank you note as well. Cookies sold separately. Batteries not included. Offer not valid with other coupons. May contain peanuts or chicken. Keep out of the reach of small children, may present a choking hazard to children under the age of 3. Do not take with alcohol. This notice has a dark background and therefore may be eaten by a grue at any time. soulseek userbox

Hiya. Ive just created a new (and better, imo) userbox for soulseek and i thought is share it. you can look at it here. this new box allows you to share your soulseek username in the box itself. also, it adds your userpage to a category called "soulseek users". if you dont like the box but you want to be in the catergory just add [[Category: Soulseek users]]. anyhoo, just thought id let you know. -(chubbstar)talk | contrib | 06:25, 27 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey! Could you tell me your sources for the Lytir article? Haukur 15:29, 27 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

my RfA

Thanks for your opinions in my RfA. Ultimately, the request did not pass, with a vote of (43/16/7). But your honest opinion was appreciated and I'll just keep right on doing what I do. Maybe I'll see ya around -- I'll be here!
Cheers! - CheNuevara 17:49, 27 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

my RfA

Thanks for your support opinion on my RfA. With a final vote of (62/0/1), my RfA passed, and I am now an Administrator. I will work hard to ensure that the tools entrusted to me will not be abused, and will wield my mop proudly.
Happy editing! --Firsfron of Ronchester 22:45, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

My RfA and your vote

Hi Merovingian,
Thanks for participating in my RFA! Ultimately, no consensus was reached, but I still appreciate the fact that you showed up to add in your two cents. I was happy to see your famous one-name vote supporting me. You can feel free to talk to me about it or add some advice on my improvement page.

Sincerely, The ikiroid (talk·desk·Advise me)

Thanks from Yanksox!

Hey, Ryan, thanks for supporting my RfA, which registered a tally of 104/4/7. Which means...

I am now an admin!!!

I was and still am very flattered by all the kind comments that I recieved, I will also take into account the comments about how I could improve. I guarantee I will try my best to further assist Wikipedia with the mop. Feel free to drop in and say hi or if you need anything. Again, thank you so much! Yanksox 04:05, 29 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your support on my RFA. The final vote count was (61/9/3), so I am now an administrator. Feel free to let me know how I'm doing at any point in time or if you need anything. Once again, thank you. Wickethewok 15:35, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

FLCL

As a userbox fan of FLCL, would you be willing to vote for its nomination at Wikipedia's Article Improvement Drive? If elected, it will be the subject of a week-long overhaul, in an attempt to pass in to Featured Article status! Thanks, Litefantastic 16:38, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

extremely heated RfC, possible personal attacks by subject

Would you mind taking a look at this RfC? The talk page is getting absurdly heated, with the subject of the RfC and an admin apparently trying to discredit what appears to be a valid Outside View by painting the poster--in the words of the subject of the RfC--as "gutter trash". The RFC subject is also throwing wild accusations of sockpuppetry at everyone in support of the RfC to discredit them, I suppose. rootology (T) 20:37, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
