I'm wondering if L. Susskind's description of Maldecena as "Juan Maldecena is perhaps the greatest physicist of his generation...certainly the greatest theoretical physicist of his generation." should be noted in this article? Citation: Cornell Messenger Lecture Series, Lecture 2 (April 2X, 2014) quote from video at ~ 1 hr 8 min 50 seconds; http://www.cornell.edu/video/leonard-susskind-2-black-holes-conservation-of-information-holographic-principle. Although Susskind is co-author on at least 2 of Maldecena's papers, he seems potentially a sufficiently emminent physicist for his opinion to carry some authority/weight. Seems noteworthy to me; if others agree and are willing to paste it in, then please go for it.
