Article title

Right now, Rasta redirects to Rastafari movement. Perhaps someone more familiar with wiki nomenclature than I can suggest a better name for this page.--VAcharon 22:54, 7 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I would expect Rasta (Congo) Haplolology Talk/Contributions 23:17, 10 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Works for me.--VAcharon 19:25, 12 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, for me too. I have changed the Rastas redirect to Rasta the disambig page and tweaked this article, SqueakBox 19:47, 12 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[New entry 15th July 2008 -

As a human being am concerned with the 'connotational' implications of this article. This sounds like an event description rather than an encyclopedical entry about an emerging faction. There is presently much foreign and civil agitation in Congo and this report smacks of propaganda. Even if these facts are true the label even if self-imposed should not be tolerated by the world. It is a negative term that is damaging to a whole culture which is striving hard to establish itself after years of colonialism and other 'kultur-krieg' attacks on it's position and existance. Let people define their own world position by the actions they do and not what others do to them. Imagine a criminal and brutal organisation engaging in these same acts but labeled 'christians'. Aside from the historical embarrassment and moral guilt the Church should feel for these facts actually being accurate descriptions of their conduct the whole world over in the past, in modern times, a 'mission' has different connotations.

To sum up. This group in Congo seem to be tragically typical of the suffering that Congo has been sufferring for over the last ten years(Last time I go check Europe was backing Kabila and Brussels was back in the Congo, it's own 'Heart of Darkness' it seems) If these reports are true they are a group to be condemned and they bring great 'shame' to the very concept of "Rastafari". This is a world of 'assumed' western dominance however, here I talk of the assumption of the power of the States United and their shamed and defeated but overproud enemies Russia. The state apparatus of these two former superpowers is the institutional lie. Be aware.
