Why do you have to write he is Croatian when he is not? These three points [2][5][6] do tell is origins are from Czech and not Croatian. Are you so illiterate to don't understand that Czech and Croatia are two different nations?

Origin

Possible Croat origin? Surname Bakula is not rare in Croatia. Kubura 09:19, 16 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Scott has said his name is Bohemian, - http://scottbakulaonline.com/articles/parade.htm (source is a fan website but the article is from Parade) i think you should try making another movie of cats dont dance, you know, new! i think it would be a great hit around now.The should be even better then it was and longer, but no voice changes, and im not sure if it should be send out on dvd or the movie theaters, but that usaully depends on how good it is!

Marriage

In many interviews (mostly radio and TV talk shows) reaching into the early 2000's, Scott has verified that he and Chelsea had not married (therefore they were not married in 1996). Recently, fans have learned, from sources we consider reliable, that they *are* now married, but the sources are not mainstream media. So, they *are* married, but not "since 1996". —Preceding unsigned comment added by Snuggleduck (talkcontribs) 19:35, 20 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox image

The current infobox image is fuzzy and, because it renders the article subject largely unrecognizable, is not an accurate representation of the subject as heis most commonly seen. The closeup image of Bakula lower in the article is clearer and much more representative. I propose removing the current infobox image and replacing it with the existing closeup. Opening discussion for comments. --Tenebrae (talk) 14:09, 22 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Article is lacking in details of his religious significance

I'm referring to the cult of Scott Bakula -- http://www.thecultofscottbakula.com/ -- https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Cult-of-Scott-Bakula/316508538547 -- this is real -- at least, in Seattle I've seen them around -- these guys come to conventions and hand out pamphlets about how "His career died for your sins", and they "Oh boy" a lot too. I don't think they have as many believers as the Flying Spaghetti Monster -- and they're especially not on-par with the Church of the SubGenius -- but they're not tiny either.

I have witnessed first hand that for at least the last five or six years they've shown up at Norwescon [Norwescon is a big deal] (in the La Quinta Inn's ground-level "annex" (not sure what else to call it.) across the street -- they usually host a party along with the "gnomes" who bring home-made mead). There are rumors (probably urban legends) that Scott has made appearances at cult events from time to time (one such rumor states that such an event took place and got epically out of hand at a previous Norwescon; and that that's why they're banned from the Double Tree and have to be at the La Quinta every year -- I speculate that this rumor is false and that renting the entire ground floor of the La Quinta's annex for a public party is cheaper/easier than renting one of the ball rooms or a large hotel room at the Double Tree). Infobox photo

By any objective standard, the current infobox image of him in a tux is not a good picture in terms of composition and lighting, and by a subjective standard it hardly looks like Bakula, evidently catching him at a haggard moment with a bad haircut. The public domain closeup lower in the article is much more representative of him, and also provides a closer look at his feature. Encyclopedically, that second image is better. I'd like to bring this up for discussion before making any infoxbox changes. --Tenebrae (talk) 05:30, 17 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Birth date

As with many actors and actresses who sometimes fudge their ages, Bakulas birth date has been reported in different ways. An editor summarily removed a citation to this effect and inserted his uncited POV. This is a blatant violation of WP:VERIFY, to say nothing of the procedural breach of removing citations. I've asked the editor in my edit summary to discuss the issue here on the talk page. --Tenebrae (talk) 00:57, 8 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I am the cousin of Krista Neumann, who was married to Scott Bakula and co-starred with him in Nite Club Confidential. (I saw it). That doesn't make me a spokesman. But I can verify that Scott Bakula was born October 9, 1954 (not 1955), and that their daughter's name is Chelsy, not Chelsea. --Daviddaniel37 (talk) 19:43, 13 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
