Vrushika Mehta is an Indian television actress and professional dancer. Vrushika made her debut with Channel V's popular dance based youth show Dil Dosti Dance[1] as the female lead of the show portraying the character of Dancing Diva "Sharon Rai Prakash". She has been cast opposite Shantanu Maheshwari aka Swayam (male lead) from the show. Vrushika Mehta has completed her graduation from Tolani College of Commerce, Mumbai, Maharashtra. She had also lent her voice for an episode of Yeh Hai Aashiqui broadcast on Channel Bindass.[2]

Early life

Vrushika was born 18 February 1994 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India into a Gujarati family. She now lives in Mumbai. Vrushika began exploring her potential as a dancer from her high school days itself by participating in various dance competitions and winning many in the solo dance category in the genre of contemporary. She went onto win the duet dance category with her partner Sonal Bandekar at Dance Mumbai Dance, 2011 organized by Terrence Lewis Academy. She further was selected to be a part of a Marathi Dance reality show Khallas Dance Ekach Chance on Mi Marathi channel where she was mentored by Mayuresh Wadkar.
