:Please pay notice to the fact that the issue really isn't the language in which files are titled, but rather what follows heraldic conventions, i.e. what the images used for this template depict. Mr. Sandstein has tried to force through a disputed, bold edit without engaging in discussion; ''that'' was the 'edit war'. - [[User:Ssolbergj|Ssolbergj]] ([[User talk:Ssolbergj|talk]]) 18:42, 2 July 2016 (UTC) |

This template collects coats of arms for easy incorporation into articles. There has been a minor edit war about whether the template should use the images with Latin filenames created by Ssolbergj (talk · contribs) as collected at Commons:Category:Insigne Latinae, or the ones used previously. Hi there,
A few users and I are having trouble agreeing on the best photo to use as a portrait for Bernie Sanders's template. It will often be displayed beside Hillary Clinton's portrait during the democratic nomination: Do the portraits of each candidate present them equally? The two portraits of Sanders, each presented in relation to Clinton's portrait, follow: InternetMeme (talk) 16:10, 20 June 2016 (UTC) |
In many cases company income/revenue/etc. is indicated in a native currency. I always have to go convert it to a currency I can related to, and that can be compared to other companies. And there's additional work for defunct companies where you have to look up historic exchange rates.
What do you think of standardizing it to use US$, possibly with the inclusion of the native currency as an extra? ¤ ehudshapira 22:28, 18 June 2016 (UTC) |

It is requested that the community comment on the possibility of implementing site wide, JavaScript enabled, interactive chess boards for visual demonstration of described plays. Two example implementations are available for viewing and to aid discussion of the requirements for this proposal.
Both these demonstration examples require the addition of JavaScript to your common JS to see them. This RfC is to determine if and how such a feature might be woven into the fabric of Wikipedia such that ALL users will see the proposed functionality by default. Although not necessary, it would be helpful to please first view the demonstration examples in their scripted and unscripted conditions before commenting. Be aware that some CSS styling is also required, which is imported by the JavaScripts; the unscripted display may not be exactly as intended in any eventual site wide implementation.
