What language?

This article doesn't clearly explain in what language or languages the Primary Chronicle is written. Does anyone have a reliable source for this information? Moxfyre (ǝɹʎℲxoɯ | contrib) 01:27, 29 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It is Old East Slavic with the strong South Slavic influence (i.e. it has words as well as phonetic, grammatic and syntactical forms from Old Church Slavic). Roughly speaking it's an old mixed East-South Slavic language.--Lüboslóv Yęzýkin (talk) 01:52, 29 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I read it in Alt-Slavonic (Old-Serbian/ Old Russian..=all the same ) language.

Radziwiłł Chronicle

Why is Radziwiłł Chronicle not mentioned among the manuscripts? Isn't it as important as the Laurentian and Hypatian codex? --Off-shell (talk) 10:12, 8 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Vinca Calendar is Used ?

Reading the Original Chronicles I was suprised that the time was calculated using Vinca : Year 6525 means [1017] ! This is Serbian Calendar that is still used in Serbia ! Interesting - it could means that we don't know how old the Slavonic culture might be ! Youtube: sanskrit = serbian !
