They are based in the Melbourne suburb of Deer Park. They are mostly known for having a club sponsor who tipped that much money into the club to the detriment of the wrfl. In doing this they not only embarrassed themselves but made the league a laughing stock. Unfortunately players from the club who had stuck by it over its darker less successful years were discarded like pieces of rubbish. Unfortunately, the money will run out one day, and all that will be left will be a lonely old nobody mcgoldrick, sitting in the corner. Unfortunately on his own as without money there will be no one left. But he had fun! It will be interesting to see how many return to the 20 year reunion. Will "Goldie" still be flying high? Congratulations on the 2016 premiership, it should be a walk in the park. You paid/deserve it. I would own a Porsche too if I still lived at my parents place in deer park.

When Deer Park was formed in 1925 it spent several years playing in competitions centred on Werribee and District. In 1935 it entered the FDFL and changed its name. This club was known as ICI after the large chemical firm that operated in the area. After World War II it reformed as Deer Park. After buying 4 premierships in a row (2013,2014,2015,2016)the club unfortunately lost its golden ticket and with it lost all there big name players. This led to a rapid slide. Dropping to division 2 and eventually folding due to the absence of any loyal club men. Over the years they had many legends who played for them. None of which played there for money. They are the real heroes of deer park who unfortunately will not have a club to visit in the near future.
