Shouldn't the entry at least list who the members of the group are? --- EdmundWong 06:55, 6 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hip-hop

theres a line about irony... I dont agree with that since in their documentary, LMF clearly addresses that in saying hip-hop is now a world-wide cultural paradigm amongst youth. They agree with the implied idea that hip-hop is a culture that certainly is from the west, though it has spread world wide and now is the accept packaging through the media expresses it self; certainly the most popular. They used the figurative comparison between the "western-dress" as in a business suit and a collar shirt.. "is it imitation? no!". So I'd like to see a change in that statement please.

Focus

"While American hip-hop focuses on wealth and sex, LMF highlights the economic oppression and social alienation faced by the lower class of Hong Kong, all coming from Hong Kong's overcrowded public housing estates."

Many American hip-hop focus on the lower class coming out of the ghetto. e.g Tupac, Big L, Dead Prez. The hip-hop that focuses on wealth and sex is probably 50 cent.

1127 translated lyrics

Just from listening to the song again, I think the translated lyrics in the article are a bit off. I (or someone) need to find the Chinese lyrics for it first though, so I can be sure of what they're saying. Hong Qi Gong 06:10, 20 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hip hop + heavy metal

Is it really? I think it's just a vandalism; how on earth a monkey-hiphop-band can sing heavy metal? 89.236.213.250 (talk) 08:03, 29 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Not metal exactly, but some of their songs do have rock/metal elements, and a few sport extensive guitar solos as well. --RoSeeker (talk) 02:53, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
